    Mexican Riviera- Which Ship?

    My Mom and I (ages 60&37) want to go on a Mexico cruise in Jan 2016. Can't decide between the Norweigan Jewel or Carnival Miracle. Both offer dates we like so it's all about the ship at this point. This will be our 2nd cruise together...last year we went on Navigator of the Seas and loved it.

     

    If anyone has been on the Jewel & Miracle I would love to get your feedback!

    Rony's West End or West Bay Group excursion

    Has anyone done Rony's group excursion to West End or West Bay. It looks like it's a shuttle bus and is $30 pp for 2 of us. We are just looking for a relaxing day looking at shops and restaurants in West End Village and then walking the beach in West Bay.

     

    We thought this would be a perfect way to get there but I wanted to get some feedback!

    Help!! First Cruise...Which ship would be best?

    Going on a cruise with my Mom in Jan and I have narrowed down my choices based on dates and departure Port. I was hoping to get some feedback from any cruisers that have experienced or can compare these ships.

     

    - Carnival MAGIC and DREAM

    - Royal Caribbean Serenade and Navigator

     

    This is what is important to us!

     

    - Fun ship...lively pools also day and night activities

    - Fun outside bars and dining options

    - A ship that doesn't feel enormous... we like to go to the same places and get to know the staff and fellow cruisers

    - Food- We are not picky

     

    I plan on booking a Balcony room so is there much difference between that category with the 2 lines?

     

    Also I will do a Drink package. Are the options better on Carnival or RCCL for that?

    Need Advice- Which Ship???

    Hi there...taking my first Carnival Cruise in Jan with my Mom and I can't decide on a Ship. I have narrowed it down to the following:

     

    -Magic

    -Dream

    -Sunshine

     

    All have good itineraries and they are all probably similar except the Magic doesn't seem to have all the pool side bars etc.
