http://www.sunny.org is a great resource for FLL area tourist and hotel info.
I would also search http://www.stay123.com and http://www.parksleepfly.com for hotel parking deals.
As mentioned above dates are critical to your search - the under $100 room in August can go for $300+ in Jan/Feb
Thanks for these URLs. Appreciate the direction. Trying all of them.

Yeah, good luck keeping it under $150 (especially with parking) for that date.
With a AAA discount you're looking at $202.50 at La Quinta and $233 at Hampton Inn with a Hilton Honors discount. You better book ASAP because rates will go nowhere but up.
Yes, so I am finding. Rates are just crazy and parking/shuttle service rates are not as promoted on many websites. Is this Spring Break time in FLL?

Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a moderately priced hotel (less than $150?) in Fort Lauderdale area that provides free parking for duration of cruise and also free shuttle to/from the cruise port?
Many thanks. :)

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate brand preferences by individual guests, however if we do not have the type of non-alcoholic beverage the guest prefers onboard, the guest may bring their desired non-alcoholic beverage with them. There's no limit to the amount of non-alcoholic beverages guests can bring onboard with them.
Many thanks for this confirmation from the cruise line. ;)

All carry on luggage has to be able to fit through the scanners (like in an airport) in order to get onto the ship. If your case is to big you will just tag it and send it with your other suitcases and it will be screened then and delivered to your stateroom.
They might pull and hold the bag though and call you down to security to open it up to make sure you are not trying to smuggle alcohol on board.
Our water always fits in our carryon so we just bring it with us. Others who bring cases of water just put luggage tags on the case and they are delivered to the stateroom.
Again, thanks! This really helps.

Yes, they will let you. If you carry it on they will make you open your suitcase and check the bottles to make sure they are sealed and you are not trying to smuggle alcohol onboard. At least they do that to us when we carry our water on-board each sailing.
Thanks. Would we send the roll-aboard (unlocked) through security with our suitcases (clothing) and after inspection it would be delivered to the stateroom? Or do carry the roll-aboard with us as we board the ship and it is searched at that time (to verify non-alcoholic beverages)?
Thanks for clarification so as not to upset the passengers in line behind us!! :)

Hello. My wife is a Pepsi drinker. She won't touch Coke products. I see that Celebrity is a Coke cruise line.
Will Celebrity allow us to bring our own Pepsi aboard -- say 4 six packs of 20 oz. plastic bottles packed into a roll-aboard suitcase?
I cannot find anything about this on the website -- only a prohibition against bringing aboard one's own alcoholic beverages.
Appreciate any replies regarding Pepsi, especially from those who have had success or those who have been prevented from doing so.

Cunard is a company under the Carnival Corporation umbrella, it is not a parent company of Princess.
Yes, sorry. Princess is a sister company of Cunard under Carnival umbrella.
Thanks for correction.

I confirmed with a friend at Cunard (parent company) that it is OK to bring your own Pepsi onto Princess ships.
Was told the following information needs to be labeled on the soda: Name, booking number, and cabin. Each individual bottle/can does not need to be labeled. If the soda comes in cases/packs just one label on each case/pack will suffice.
Depending on size of the cases or how it's packaged security will decide if the soda can fit through the hand-carry screener or if it will need to be put through luggage screening equipment, hence the labeling.
Hope that helps others.

Princess allows soda & water in either cans or bottles and both cruise lines have different rules. Apparently smuggling booze on Princess is not nearly as bad as on Carnival.
Thanks again to everyone for these replies. Interesting that cans would be allowed but not bottles. Security concern with plastic bottles vs aluminum cans?

Yes, Princess allows you to carry on an unlimited amount of soda
Thanks for this reply.

Hello. In December 2014 my wife and I sailed on Coral Princess out of Ft. Lauderdale and we brought on board 24 20 oz. bottles of Pepsi. (My wife's only drink -- she doesn't drink Coke products.) We carried the Pepsi in a roll-aboard bag and had no problems.
Is this still allowed or in the two years since has Princess had a change of policy such that we could no longer bring aboard our own Pepsi for cruises departing Ft. Lauderdale?
I've spoken with Princess and gotten both an "It's OK" and a "No," so I'm hoping someone out there in Cruise Critic land knows what's really happening.
Thanks.

I just inquired about services in August and was told "Thank you for your inquiry.
But we have already finished our job for foreign visitors.
I am sorry that we can't offer service anymore."
Huh?
