Since you have extra days consider flying into Fairbanks for a land tour to Denali with a south bound cruise either into Vancouver or Seattle and for the land portion try to find one with the train rather than the same places by bus. We can give you lots of reasons why and other info if you like. Not necessarily seasoned Alaska tourists, but a cruise out of Seattle and back wasn't enough so we just completed the tour above.
