  1. I have to get a magnet with the ship on it and one from every port. We also wear cute family shirts. Last cruise was we had the kids and there was the Dr Seuss breakfast so I made Shelton (our last name) 1,2,3,4,5 shirts for everyone. This cruise will just me my hubby and I and we are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary so I have Married Since couple shirts. My hubby is a great sport 😘

  2. I paid for our cruise and in full and then decided to change dates a few weeks later. It was the same cruise so not sure if that makes a difference. They told me there was a $100 fee but they waived that for me. There was a $60 price difference so I ended up only paying that and changed it in less than 10 mins no problem. Carnival was great!

  3. Not exactly sure what ports you are going to ... but if Cozumel is included in your sailing ... I would recommend the dolphin swim in Cozumel. I would also recommend booking it individually through the park, instead of the boat.

Here's why: (1) The park offers the EXACT SAME stuff the boat does, but it does NOT include transportation. A cab to/from the park is $10 each way (up to 4 people). [Edit to note: The park is only a 10 min drive from the port.] The price difference is $60 PP cheaper and it does not cost that much to get to/from the boat. (2) The groups are SUBSTANTIALLY SMALLER booking through the park. IE, there were 6 people on the swim w/ our group as opposed to 12 to 14 per boat excursion. The equates to MORE in water dolphin time. (3) The park also gives you a dip in the Manatee tank and allows you to pet and feed the manatees.

The trainers and the park are much better in Cozumel in our experience.

Which park do you book through?

  4. This will be our 2nd cruise and I've always wanted to swim with the dolphins. I found 2 in Mahogany Bay, one is a swim and snorkel and the other is an active swim. The active swim looks like you get to ride on the fun and have the dolphin push you along through the water. Has anyone done these excursions? Which one is better? Thanks for any input.

  5. I was on this cruise as well! It was our first! I love seeing it from another's point of view. I think we did he same stingray excursion in cayman? You look familiar:) I can't wait to go on another cruise! We are hooked for sure. I do agree that the eggs were not good. We weren't all that impressed with the the food on the ship at all. We did the steakhouse and glad we did!
