We will be cruising to Amber Cove next January. We will be booming a cabana. This will be our first stop there. Which cabana is better, poolside or ocean cabana?

I would agree with an extra day and HMC. The only reason we keep going back and forth is because we current have a Grand Scenic Ocean View room, we love those rooms.

We are currently booked on the Sunrise and was suppose to be going to Cuba and Half Moon Cay.

We are now trying to determine if we want to stay on our current cruise or change the another. There isn’t a big price difference between the two. Here are our options. I would love some feedback on everyone’s opinion.

Stayed here for two nights when we were in town for a NHL game. We received it using a Priceline express deal. Had no complaints, it was extra loud in the lobby, bar area.

Booked for Jan. 2020 to Cuba! Grand Scenic OV! Can’t wait.

Did not present anything. Told the bartender we should get the pre purchase since we had gift cards on our account. She said no problem. Done correctly the first time.

Just boarded the Magic! Went to guest services and had the gift cards put on our sail and sign account. Went over to the bar and purchased Cheers for the pre purchased price! No questions asked! Piece of cake!

I have this cabin next month. It's not a connecting cabin.

I have family on the Valor. They missed St. Kitts earlier this week due to weather. Wednesday it rained all day in Puerto Rico. Was suppose to be in Grand Turk yesterday and at sea today. From the tracker looks like they are porting at Nassau this morning

I just spoke to Carnival about this about an hour ago. As I had planned on doing the same. I was told they received a memo a month or so back saying the prepaid price would be honored if you were using Carnival gift cards. She put me on hold to verify with her supervisor. She came back with the same response. That ever ship should be honoring the prepaid price if you are using Carnival gift cards. She had nothing in writing that she could email me so I would have proof once boarding.

Spoke with Carnival this morning and was told they would honor the 49.95 pre-cruise price if paying with gift cards on board since they currently have no way of processing cards at 800 #.

I just spoke with Carnival and was told the same thing. Has anyone tried purchasing Cheer's onboard with gift cards yet?

I know you can't purchase the Cheer's package using gift cards online. I just called the Fun Shops and was told for passengers wanting to use gift cards to purchase Cheer's, that an exception is made onboard and you can purchase it for the prepaid price of $49.94/day. Has anyone else done this?

Check in was still done on the carnival site. Any questions or changes had to go through the TA. Which is a company Verizon has hired. I didn't find that out until I called carnival with a question. I will not book using Verizon smart rewards again.

Btw I booked super saver so yes I was required to pay the total. On the confirmation email it had a note for the final payment due date. So I would think if you book other than super saver then you wouldn't have to pay in full. Carnivals billing summary has me paying full price. Travel agents billing shows the discounted price.

My next cruise is booked using Verizon. It's through a travel agent based in Fort Lauderdale. Unless it's a huge savings I wouldn't do it again. Getting any questions or requests taken care of has been a pain.

Just over a month away from sailing on the Glory! First time in a scenic OV. Can't wait to see the view. Same ports of call besides nassau. Stopping at half moon cay instead. What nights are elegant nights?

What cabin #? I have 9199 booked in May. In very excited to see the view. Without the sofa bed deployed is there plenty of room? A little larger than a regular OV?

I've been on the Fascination once. Loved it. Never sailed the Sensation.

I'm looking at two cruises in April.. The Fascination is 4 days to Nassau and Freeport. Sensation 3 days to Nassau. The port doesn't matter since we are the same distance from each. The stops arent that big of a deal since its just a weekend getaway. Which ship would everyone recommend?

Stayed at the Cambria suites in Fort Lauderdale. Loved it. Cruising out of Miami this time. Would you all recommend Cambria at Miami airport or the Cambria at Fort Lauderdale?

One of my bookings on carnival.com has disappeared.. I tried adding it back and it doesn't show up.. I called and was told the booking is still active. Should I just wait a little and try looking it up online again? Maybe a website issue?

My cruise is also in May, on the sunshine. I called yesterday but no luck, she said she couldn't open it up for 2 people at this time. Maybe better luck next time.

What's the chances of being able to go from a regular ocean view to a scenic Oceanview? Currently have a reg Oceanview booked. Scenic ocean views are available just not for 2 people at this time. Do they ever open up for just 2 people?
