I need to exchange cash for the trip, I was told the train station gives better rates than banks. We have an exchange center in our mall and a casino. What's your experience? Thinking maybe I'd just put cash on my sail account then won't have to worry about being charged in Canadian

I'm interested in this as well I've seen a bike tour but not just renting the bicycles. Would it be too far from port to bike around the island? The old road by the water looks like an amazing ride.

How long did it take to walk to the public Beach? We're going to snorkel a bit at cemetery first just want to make sure we get back to the ship in time

I think we'll walk from Cemetery Beach down to the public beach by Calico Jacks. Beach walking is my favorite and I hope we'll have time to sit at Calicos for a few.

First time at GC and there will be 4 ships in port the day we're there so I thought we'd catch a bus to Cemetery beach snorkel a bit then walk the beach back. How long of a walk to get to the public beach area? thought we could jump back on a bus from port there. Is this doable? Thought we could avoid some of the crowds this way

Last minute cruise booking so didnt have a good choice of flights either 7am or 8pm. Not sure what to do all day. Myself and husband are light packers but we'll still have 1 suitcase and a couple of bags to cart around all day. Not familiar with the area.

We're leaving this weekend with 4 in our cabin 2 of which are our 17 year old twin daughters. Can we save time and sanity if some use the gym showers? Would they need to bring towels from the room?

Went on the Paradise 2 years ago for Christmas it was our first cruise. For us it was a great experience sorry it wasn't so for your family. I noticed her worn and frayed edges but for us the staff more than made up for it and we had no issues with the food or mdr. I even felt confident enough to book a New Years trip on the Fantasy for this holiday. It's the same class and I think even older but it's had its 2.0 upgrades. Heard mixed reviews of that ship too but hope we get lucky again.

Thanks for the pictures. Every picture I've seen is like the first one with both bunks down, just seems it would make getting in and out of the far side of the bed very difficult. I think twins under the bunks is the way to go

If you leave them together, your cabin steward will have to stand on them to make the beds in the upper bunks;)

Booked with early saver and $50 on board credit. Already used price protection and received a $40 discount and because it was also a early saver with $50obc it all stayed the same. Now there is another price drop that even if I lose my obc it's still cheaper. My question is because this new deal doesn't say early saver does that mean that price protection is gone? If it drops again I can't take advantage of It? Final payment is Nov 1

Kind of a silly question but do you have to wait 5min in between non alcoholic drinks as well? I drink a fair amount of coffee and would probably order 2 at a time so I didn't have to go back to coffee bar during breakfast. The coffee on the lido buffet just doesn't cut it

I thought they wouldn't give the guarantee because the carnival tour includes a bag lunch and a bottle of water so it's different. I'll give it try and see what they say. Thanks for the info

you do pay in full online. I finally heard back from Autoprogreso and he said the departure time varies with the ship's arrival time. So I feel much better about the reservation now.

Well how was your trip? We'll be on board for the Dec 31 cruise out of Mobile, AL. Have any tips? This is just our second cruise.
