I always marvel at the ones who purchase it and never come back after the first day - must have money to burn.
I am replying to an oldish post here but its funny.
We were in the Vibe on the Bliss last November. On the Bliss the 19th desk is split between the Vibe and a public deck area that looks like the Vibe with the padded loungers but defiantly wasn't.
On the last full day of the cruise a lady who clearly had a pass opened the security door and stood there shocked, mouth agape, and then turned and quickly walked away. She had spent the entire cruise on the public side of the 19th deck thinking that she was in the Vibe the whole time.
We related this to the bartender and he told us that a few cruises previously somebody complained to customer service that that there were kids running around the Vibe. The bartender was shocked because there were no kids in the Vibe. So he looked at the bar records and found that they had used the bar on the public side of the deck, but never used the bar on the vibe side of the deck.
They both paid for the Vibe but never actually used it.

Just say blended after any drink served over ice. 😁
Although this might not work well for some drinks (anything carbonated), it technically will work.

Multiple nights, each with a different theme. Ie Beatlemania, Sgt Pepper etc.
As well as a show in the theater towards the end of the cruise.

Is the appeal still pending?
As far as I was able to tell. Yes

Updating this topic after 2 years.
In July of 2021 a Judge tossed out the lawsuit and stated that the grandfather was responsible for the death of the child, not the cruise line.
The family has appealed.

15 ft. 4 bucks at Lowe's, kept in CPAP bag.
Don't forget the duct tape so you can tape the extension cord down and not trip over it. Standard duct tape is almost exactly the width of a credit card so wrap duct tape around an old card of some kind and throw that in your bag as well.

I got these some time ago before getting on the Encore, used them on 4 cruises now and they are brilliant, they work perfectly with a lanyard and if you position it away from the magnetic strip they can still swipe the card with it still attached.
https://www.amazon.com/Gripper-Holder-Plastic-Standard-Thickness/dp/B0B4VP78PVI do like those.
How strong is the grip? Are the cards going to fall out easily?

And... you clip this to your dress somehow?
In my case it attached to a belt loop since I don't wear a dress. However you could easily attach a lanyard and wear it around your neck.

This is what I do. They are called hang tabs or repair tabs. You stick one on each side of the card and put your lanyard through the hole. They can be found at places that sell supplies for retail stores. You can also get a similar item on amazon for repairing vertical blinds, search for "repair tabs".
The lanyard or carabiner doesn't interfere with the swiping of the card and you don't need to remove the card from the sleeve every time you use the card.

If I recall correctly is exclusive to all latitude members. ie everybody who has sailed with NCL at least once before.
There will be bartenders walking around with trays of cocktails while they try to sell you on making your next cruise reservation while on board.
It was a very popular event before free at sea because of the free booze but now not as much because most cruisers have free alcohol anyway.

Not exactly a NCL Menu, but here is a list of cocktails that I created for a meet & greet a few years back. Enjoy!
Please note that the "Zombie Brain Shot" on this list is not a standard NCL drink. They will make you one if you give them the recipe but I advise you pass. Its a terrible novelty drink.

Not the Getaway but I was on the Bliss a couple of weeks ago and we bought Vibe passes.
The ship was about 45% full and they sold 17 passes out of a possible 50. There were about 70 loungers available excluding the cabanas.
We are platinum and we arrived early to ensure we got passes, we didn't need to rush. The higher prices combined with reduced capacity meant that there were plenty of passes available.
The main pool deck was never full, even on sea days. I estimate that there was about 30% of the poolside loungers available.

$209 for a 1 week cruise.

At a conference call last week NCL stated that capacity was currently capped at 70% and no cruise has actually reached that threshold yet. I would expect 50-60% on most cruises for the next little while.

I have been on the Escape, Getaway, Bliss and Joy.
If the Escape has the observation lounge then it would be my favorite by far.
Since it doesn't I have to go with the Bliss

We don't need your spreadsheet. We just need to know where you find out how many rooms are available.

Its hard to remember but at one time Margaritaville was included in your cruise fare. Then it was a very low price. When they raised it to the price of a specialty restaurant, the appeal was lost and it was no longer a crowded venue. People are reporting that the American Diner is a ghost town too. The menu looks fine but what you would expect to get at the MDR. Most cruisers are smart with their money. Is the burger worth $14 more than the burger at the buffet or MDR?
If I recall correctly Margaritaville lasted exactly 1 cruise as an included restaurant. Apparently there were 2 hour lineups for lunch and the next cruise it was a la carte.

Yes. The parking garage right across the street is Republic Parking. I have used them a couple of times.

Over the entire weekend, only 2 cabins sold of the hundreds remaining.
How do you know this? I don't think any cruise line publishes totals of sold or available cabins.

There is a post on the Encore Inaugural Caribbean cruise that show hard selzer as an option on the beer menu.

We got our upgrade letter yesterday, 95 days out. We are in an inside.
I did some mock bookings and it seems that the insides do not have many rooms left, and the higher room categories have many more rooms left. NCL might be trying to create some openings at the low end so they don't have to report the category as sold out. If that's the case we might expect that these offers might be accepted soon.
Also, by not selling out the insides it means that the "starting at" price on the search summary stays nice and low.

Just like Margaritaville was a bust on the Escape (and probably the other ships it's on).
It was always empty on our sailing in July, 2018 and really the only thing it was good for was that it was an additional spot for breakfast that was free and with no crowd. I also was told they had great nachos.
I'd bet the Diner is a better idea and will attract more people than Margaritaville though.
Will find out on my January sailing of Encore!
On the first cruise of the Escape, when Margaritaville was a free to dine venue, there were 2 hour waits for lunch. When they starting charging people on the second cruise then everybody lost interest.

Sorry for replying late.
I use these as well although I find that the card is a little too thin for a good grip. I use a small piece of thick sticky plastic under the grip and it hangs on much better.
