Thanks D, I just figured that my time I add up the train, bus and ferry rides I could as well get the Stockholm card and see more than the Vasa museum. But I think that I will take your advice and stick to my original plan of getting the 24 hour card for 115 Sek. Sam.

I have another quick question, I am thinking about getting the Stockholm card as it covers transportation and entrance to museums. I needed to confirm that it will cover my round trip costs from Nynashmn train station to Stockholm train station. Thanks, Sam;)

Thanks for your quick response Desdichado62, by transfer point I meant connection train or bus when I get to the central train station from Nynashamn. Once I get into the city what is next, where do I go from there? Sam.

Hello Desdichado62, I am certain that you have been asked this question many times and I have been earnestly trying to find the answer within your many posts. My ship will be tendering in Nynashamn on a Monday from 7am to 7pm. I have gathered that I can actually walk frpm the pier to the train station and get the train into the the city. It will cost be 115 Swedish dollars and will take 44 minutes. My question is about the transfer. I want to visit the following 3 places only; Vasa museum, Old town and the ice bar. But I can't seem to see where is my transfer point onceI get to Central station. Please help if you can. Thanks Sam.

Bus 2A towards Kastrup and 9A towards Operaen goes between Tivoli and Vor Frelser Kirke (well more precisely Christianshavn Metro station).
With these 2 lines you will have around 18 departures to choose from every hour.
From there it only takes 3-4 minutes to walk.
Christiansborg Palace is located midway between Tivoli and Christianshavn.
From Christianshavn you can take the metro to Kongens Nytorv where Nyhavn is located.
Remember that the cruise shuutle only runs between 08:00 and 16:00 so after that time you will have to rely on a taxi or the cruise line shuttle to get back to Oceankaj.
Thanks so much Danish Viking, Sam.

Is it Oceankaj, In that case it its a very long walk around 6-7 kilometers.
I will B back tomorrow with full reply as I am on work all day.
Okay, It is Oceankaj, Thanks Danish Viking. I will be awaiting your reply. Sam.

Hello Danish Viking, I have been following your 2015 thread and have founded it to be very informative. I wanted to ask you a question there instead of here but I just can't find it anymore, sorry. Anyway, I will be in Copenhagen on the first Saturday in May and as I said , I know how to get to the city from the pier, and all the other wonderful advice that you gave. When I leave Tivoli gardens, I want to visit Church of Our Saviour or I can do that first. It doesn't matter but I am not finding a connection bus . Is this walkable? I think the search said 20 minutes apart from the 2 locations. I will have approximately 8 hours to visit. I am planning on walking from the pier (can't recall the name but began with an O), into the city and get that #26 bus that you mentioned back. But while there I have shortened my list to the church, Tivoli, Nyhavn and the C/ Palace. Just not enough time but it seems like the other 3 are all within walking distance except the church. Thanks DV, for any advice on my day in your wonderful city. Sam.:D

I have the same dilemma, I will be leaving on May 13th and was told to get the local train from the pier to the end of the line. From there I can get a cab for cheap to the airport. May take Princess transfer which I thought was high at $45.00. Sam.

Get a cab to take you to Brown's beach in Carlisle bay. I am sure that you arrange for a drop off and pick up. This way they can keep your luggage for you. The only thing to do in the area of the airport is to see the Concord; that's if you are into planes. Enjoy Barbados.
