One thing is for sure, any changes to the inaugural date means more refunds and cancellations to process.

Some delay is inevitable but once announced they've got more money to give back so I suspect they won't be in a hurry to announce a revised date.

I just hope they announce the delay prior to our final payment date.  Yesterday I booked Oasis for November 4th....sadly I needed to go for my plan B 😞

We are on her in Sept 2021 and Wonderland is listed as an option.  I was surprised that there is no Italian restaurant on the ship.  We usually buy the UDP, but our first time on a larger ship (Liberty was the largest so far) and being in a JR Suite, I guess we can try Costal Kitchen, so we will probably only buy 5 nights specialty.

She will have Giovanni’s Table, I have reservations there for the November 5th sailing.

    Hello Me,

Thank you for contacting the Executive Office of Royal Caribbean International. On behalf of Mr. Bayley, President & CEO, I am pleased to respond to your email.

It is disheartening to know that we’ve disappointed you in regards to our DINE • DRINK • DISCOVER program. I can assure you that this was never our intention. After careful review, we have decided to allow our guests to decide if they would like to keep their dining program for their boardwalk stateroom, or if they would rather keep the Onboard Credit offer that can be used for any onboard purchase. Unfortunately, moving forward, this program will be cancelled for future sailings.

Please visit the following link to let us know your preference by October 4th, 2019.

Me, thank you for taking the time to contact us with your feedback. We look forward to seeing you onboard Harmony of the Seas in April of 2020!

    Sincerely,

Funny, it mentions the Boardwalk cabins, but not my CP booked cabins.

Has anyone that selected the $50 OBC seen it on their Cruise Planner?  I responded to the email and selected the OBC over 3 weeks ago and figured after the deadline to choose the OBC would show up.

I don't know, but it would be nice to know.

Unfortunately, the cruise line reads CC, so if this technique is shown to work, they will likely program around it.

We generally book 2 cabins and on paper have one child in each of our rooms since in the past I've been the only one to buy the package.  My little one is 17, so I only have a few years left to do that AND since my wife got the package on our last short sailing I think she will want it moving forward anyway, lol.  We also got in on the $18 for next years sailings so I think she'll now be hooked on the package anyway!  LOL

  5. I was there the 2nd weekend Perfect Day officially opened.  We were on Navigator and the only ship there that day.  There wasn't very many people at the pool until noon or so.  Once the DJ set up and started playing music it got busier (and louder).  There were TONS of available chairs on all the beaches, seemed weird to see the beaches not crowded at all.  We had a Beach Bed and that part of the beach was a ghost town.  Although I assumed the beds/bungalows were sold out since they disappeared off the Cruise Planner months before my sailing, there were only a handful of people occupying them.

We ate at Skippers Grill because they have tacos as well as hamburgers fries and hot dogs and ice cream and some very aggressive seagulls!

(Sorry about the quote- there a big if I quote you it shows up again and I can’t type. So I won’t be quoting any of you anymore!

I watched a seagull land on a table to take some food as soon as someone got up for a second!
