  1. Cruising to Isle of Pines in May on Princess, ship is there 8-5. There are two cruiseline excursions we are interested in, and are looking for some feedback from anyone who has been there:

First excursion is Le Meridien/Oro Bay 830-230 - use of the resort's beach, facilities, water sports equipment, lunch. While there, we would also walk over to the Natural Aquarium. Can anyone comment on what types of water toys are available at the resort? (kayaks, stand up paddle boards, rafts, etc.??) and are there plenty of them? (no waiting/taking turns??)

Second, Turtle Bay/Brush Island tour looks INCREDIBLE but timing 830-1030 conflicts with the other excursion... so we can't book both thru the cruisline. Any opinions on which is the "better" choice? Turtle bay tour is 2 hours, which leaves us lots of time until ship departs. Is that enough time to get up to Oro Bay, to properly see the area, perhaps grab lunch and a beer at the resort or a restaurant, snorkel and swim, and explore the Aquarium?

How long does is the drive from the tender dock to Oro Bay? How long is ideally needed to see that area? In other words, do we have enough time for both... and if so any recommendations on private tour operators/taxis/shuttles that would take us up to Oro bay?

    Any info greatly appreciated!
