Just be advised that if you are getting on a bus from Horseshoe Bay you will be walking up a pretty steep incline to get to the bus. Horseshoe Bay has put in a boardwalk to get from top to bottom but it is still a distance to walk. If you are taking a cab or shuttle they will be parked as you exit the beach area.

Also,take a photo of your passport on your phone. If you should lose your passport it will be much easier to get replaced. I have also heard that if the phone photo is clear enough(no bends) they could scan the copy at customs right off your phone.

Use a private taxi,once you get in they take off for your destination with no stopping...If you are going to Horseshoe Bay there is a pretty steep incline from the road to the beach area,you will be walking down a wooden boardwalk with railings. The Taxi will bring you to the bottom of the road whereas a bus will let you off at the top and you will have to walk down. The shuttle will also bring you to the bottom but to pay a buck extra per person for a non-stop door to door service is well worth it, The taxi stand is at beach level to bring you back to the dockyard and were were given a price of $6.00 each for the return trip! If you come by bus you will have to walk up the rap to the main road to catch your ride back.

Just returned on the Summit...Roulette tables had $5.00 min-$500.00 max bet. every night. I believe poker tables were $5.00 min and $10.00 min. Craps I do not know table limits.

We just returned from a cruise on the Celebrity Summit.....We had the Classic Package and it did state on the chart that we were entitled to fountain soda,not cans. My wife drank canned coke cola all week and was not charged a penny for it. If you go to a station like the grill on the pool deck they do not have a fountain dispenser and will gladly hand you a canned soda. If you go to the bars once my wife got a fountain cola and said it was not bad but next time asked for a can,showed the bartender her card and asked if there is a charge and was told"No charge" with a smile. Also, to make sure you were not charged each evening in our cabin I would check my up to date billing on the interactive tv channel to make sure no surprise charges showed up.

I have booked Brians Taxi for the Peggys Cove Tour in Halifax N.S. for September 14,2015 off the Norwegian Gem. The car(taxi) can hold four passengers.If there is another couple who would like to share the cost of the tour($200.00) for the 4 hour tour please email me at JCPD2252@aol.com.
