  1. Hi,

We were just on the Escape in October from NYC to Bermuda. If it’s the same crew in the Splash Academy, it will be fantastic. Our 3 year old loved her “new school.” I wasn’t sure she would spend anytime there but she loved it and asked to go every day. The staff were wonderful. I would go on a transatlantic with our daughter for sure on the Escape. The only thing is that the kids pool is quite deep. However, the area with the kids’ slide and spray area were a lot of fun.

  2. We got lucky. Coming from Toronto and going to NYC. We are flying in the day before the cruise by choice and the times are good. Returning, our flight out is a direct flight and leaves around mid afternoon so not too long of a wait. I did find waiting for the flight times stressful and we could have easily ended up with poorly time flights so not sure I would do it again.

  3. Hi all,

I've been reading reviews in which people found the spa mini suites noisy in the morning due to deck chairs being arranged. Since "noisy" can mean different things to different people, I'm wondering if anyone staying in a mini suite on the Escape and found it not noisy, or if you would or wouldn't book in the spa mini suite on the Escape again? Thanks so much!!

  4. Hi all,

We're booked for the Norwegian Escape to Bermuda in October. Excited! Just wondered if there is a preferred side of the ship. We're booked on a balcony on the starboard side on the 11th deck. In particular, I'm wondering if we have to worry about smelling smoke from our balcony as I think I read that the designated smoking area is on the starboard side. Also any recommendations for best deck? Thanks so much for any advice. First time Norwegian cruisers and feeling excited!
