  1. There was a glass semi-sub excursion that boards a few blocks from the tender pier in town. It was about $20 per person and lasted about an hour. Your kids should enjoy that.

     

    Grand Cayman is expensive! Lunch consisting of a shared pizza, a Diet Coke, and an umbrella drink was over $40.

     

    We've done the glass bottom semi-sub and enjoyed it

  2. Started the day early this morning at the grocery store to buy veggies, fruit, and chicken breasts.

     

    I am going to work hard to lose 30 pounds by October 19th. We are sailing on the Ruby Princess October 22.

  3. Popcorn12 and spouse will be on the 21-28 NCL Star sailing to Alaska and would like to attend the meet and greet 22 Aug. This is our first cruise and have a lot of questions.

    What is the best thing for seasickness? We have an inside cabin, #5081. Anyone stayed in that area?

    Give me some favorite excursions to do in Skagway. Is the suspension bridge, white Pass railway & scenic klondike highway tour worth $159?

    Have not sailed on NCL - but we loved our Alaska cruise - White pass was great and we would book it again :)

     

    I always take the patch with me - have never had to use it - but better safe than sorry. Ginger is also good remedy

  4. It is 6:30am and I notice someone has figured out a really unique way to save a prime deck lounge. She is in her bathing suit, reading a book, and actually sitting on the lounge. Most people just leave a book or towel on the lounge and expect that will hold the chair for the next twelve hours.

  5. I'm on day 4 of induction. I refuse to get on the scale until a week is up...or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

     

    We're traveling this weeked so dh took us to eat Mexican. DH and DS ate chips and salsa, beans, rice and lots of other yummy but bad for you food.

     

    I resisted and I am very proud of myself. I ate the fajita's and left the tortials, chips, rice and beans on the table un-eaten. In the past I woud have eaten it, on the promise to restart the next day. I think atkins makes it easier to resist.
