  1. Does anyone know what wines are included? I read somewhere that it is two whites, two reds and a Proseco. But which whites and which reds? They’re playing with my emotions here. Lol

I’ll probably upgrade to classic anyway...

  2. Nope. Never heard of this. This rep obviously just doesn’t know. I emailed my maitre’d for my cruise this past July and he responded. I wouldn’t worry about it. Customer service reps may or may not be aware.

However, I do take issue with her vehemence. She came on a little strong, didn’t she? Humph...

  3. Ahhhhh, the good ole days! Sigh...

I received a free cruise in 2014 as well. Just a random letter in the mail. It was a much needed break.

Also got a free cruise last year. They "said" to avoid overbooking the Sunshine out of Charleston. *shrug*

Now they have me spoiled and looking for a free cruise every even year! Lol [emoji23]

  4. How many will be in your immediate party ? A Larry's Limo sedan for three would cost $70 plus tip ($88) approx to get from FLL to Miami. A limousine, which would accommodate 4-5 would run around $$100 plus 20%tip, tolls, eat cet . I know this because I booked for an October cruise, and they are very easy to deal with. They answered all of my questions promptly. If you want them to meet you at baggage claim, they will, for $10. Otherwise, they will be at the curb waiting for you .... we enjoy the private vehicles. Cuts out so much stress having to wait for Uber or stressing over a taxi meter, or shuttling all around the airport waiting to fill a shuttle van FULL before driver is willing to hit the road. It really would depend on your arrival time, too.

We'll have 5 people coming from FLL. Would a limo be able to handle bags for 5? It'd be about 10 pieces (2 per person) with a carry on and full size suitcase.

  5. I would add just a little data to your decision making process

be cautious of your FLL arrival and depart times if they are on a weekday ....

travel between Fl and Miami is always 'interesting' for out of towner's and even MORE SO during weekday rush hours. I'd avoid weekday rush hours for your transfer road time if at all possible

veteran of 10+ years commuting in Miami (working downtown first and then in the port) sends .....

We would be flying in about noon on a Friday, the day before our cruise.

  6. Fly into FLL and save the big $$. ;)

It is easy to get a shuttle to your downtown Miami hotel, and even easier (and probably cheaper) to take Uber. UberX should be about $40 for 2-3 -- if you need to go bigger with UberXL the cost should be closer to $75.

Use the $$ you save to buy the General a drink!

I hadn't thought of Uber XL. great idea! Looks like it would be about $85 each way, which is just an additional $40+ per person. I can handle that over $140 per person.

The General has already told me I'm buying her a drink. Are you sure you haven't met her? LOL
