I would suggest anyone in the military look at USAA for insurance, including travel insurance. It’s inexpensive and definitely covers deployment as a covered reason for all travelers.

I'm going on your cruise with my almost-16 year old daughter who is NOT happy about it and thinks a teen "kids club" is dumb - I'm just hoping I can get here there!

I have been in both regular and Spa balcony cabins and if the price difference isn't too much, I definitely think it's worth it - if the spa is something you will enjoy! The rooms are the same size ( with nicer toiletries in the Spa balcony and ours had a Spa bathrobe in the bathroom). The Spa itself is great, and when I stayed in the regular balcony cabin I bought a weekly pass for the Spa since my husband doesn't care either way - so for us we look at the price difference between the cabin per person and two weekly spa passes. Be mentally prepared that the cabins and the balconies are indeed small though, so you won't be disappointed :)
