Yes defender the food quality on the Dream is a downward spiral, the food in the buffet was dire in April , like a works canteen. We have just been on the P&O Britainnia the food and ship, entertainment was superb and cheaper than thomson in a balcony cabin

It's time thomson got without the dream it's way past its best

We have just got back off the Britannia yesterday our check in time was 16-00! We arrived at the ocean Terminal at 12-30 we was boarding at 2-15

We are on Britainnia next week, how much do they automatically charge to you board account Daily for tips? I totally disagree with it, you usually tip good service, not before you've experienced it.,

On the cruise info we have received for our cruise on Britainnia on 5 sept it says a baggage allowance of 20kg, which seems ridiculous when there is no flight involved , what's the crack on this. .? Surely they are not weighing baggage before loading? Also what are they doing if it's heavier?

Sorry we are on the Britannia 5 th September

We are P&O first timers our e ticket informs us that our embarkation time is 16-00 at Southampton, not to arrive before or after this time, given that the ship is supposed to sail at 17-00, it doesn't give much time to board before the ropes are released ! If we arrive at the port early around 13-30 will they process us or make us wait till 16-00?

Obviously pension cruiser we have a different quality threshold

I have been cruising with Thomson for over 15 years often twice per year however I have to say our last 2 cruises on board the Thomson Dream, the quality of the food has certainly gone down hill, in both the Orion and the buffet

I got voucher for £140 but I complained on line

Thomson have just responded to my complaint about this cruise and the extensive work ongoing whilst passengers on board , they are sending me a £140 voucher, better than nothing I suppose.,

We was also in the floating building site! Thomson show no respect to loyal customers. We was in a Grand Suite on deck 11' every time the ship sailed there was awful fuel fumes in the cabin, the air con didn't work, and neither did the jacuzzi bath! One day we had a sign tied to the balcony door warning us not to use the balcony as workmen above! Total disgrace, they couldn't even wait for passengers to leave before stacking the chairs up in the medusa lounge on one side !

New to Thomsons - a few questions.....
in Marella Cruises (formerly Thomson)

You will find the food is very down market compared to P&O , and the ships are way past their sell by date! The entertainment is vey good as is the service, but I'm sure you will be running back to Cunard and P&O quickly !
