My husband and I each bought the soda package onboard he Allure over Thanksgiving. We also got 60 minutes of wifi. We ended up with a $150 onboard credit for the late arrival to St. Thomas. Our credit card was credited $11 and change when we got off the ship!
We could have easily gone without those things though had we needed to.

Disappointed with $425? I'd be happy with that.

My understanding is that you do not need a passport. However, I highly recommend getting one if the cost isn't too much of an issue. It's easier and eventually she may need one anyway so it's good to have.

I've never been to Belize via cruise but spent a week two years ago on Ambergris Caye and I have to say if you like snorkeling you shouldn't miss out on the snorkeling in Belize.

Never cruised Disney. I know several people who have and I haven't ever heard anything negative. I think in general they get really positive reviews and people have a great time. Everyone I know who has cruise Disney has kids and they love the "disney" experience. The characters and theming and all that fun stuff. If that is what you want then go with Disney. It's a unique product that only they offer. You won't get that Disney Magic anywhere else. There's nothing on any other line that comes close.
However, if you're simply looking for a good kids program, good food and service then I'd strongly consider staying away from Disney. It's not worth the extra money, at least for me.
Again is boils down to what you're looking for. Royal can't duplicate everything that Disney has but if you don't care about Disney then don't pay the extra money. That's my opinion.

Was just on Thanksgiving cruise and we had a blast. Got off the ship and felt like we had done a lot and yet there was still so much that we didn't do. You'll have a great time!

Chase Sapphire Preferred. There is a $95 fee each year but the benefits exceed that so I don't mind. Points transfer to airlines and hotel loyalty programs or you can use them on their travel site, with prices similar to Expedia, Priceline, etc. Awesome customer service and no foreign transaction fees.

We were just on the Allure last week and thought he was great! Funny and saw him numerous times around the ship. A couple times we saw the morning show with him and the activities director for a few minutes and although it's cheesy they were cracking us up for some reason.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza last Saturday night before our cruise. Free shuttle from the airport and cab to the port was $7. Hotel is nice and convenient.

I printed ours out. If you go into your reservations online you can print your luggage tags. There was also one in the cruise ticket booklet.

We were just on Allure and were seated at the end of a row for one of the shows and a kid, probably 14 or 15 came up and instead of asking to get by us he just put his hand up near our faces and waved it to let us know to move out of his way. We loved our cruise but experienced a lot of rude behavior, both adults and kids, on this cruise.

Good evening!! Just off Allure this morning and loved it. Ready to book another cruise but my husband doesn't want to do another Caribbean itinerary as we have been on several of them and also been on a few week long vacations in various Caribbean destinations...
I've heard mixed reviews regarding European itineraries and the time you get to spend in each place and we just do not know anyone who has been on a cruise to anywhere other than the Caribbean so I wanted to get some opinions and recommendations from the knowledgable cruisers.
A little about us... 32 and 28, love to travel and enjoyed our cruise on Majesty and loved our cruise on Allure (pros and cons to different sizes so I'm not sure that matters much to us).. We like to explore on our own once at the ports, but are open to excursions. I like the pool and to lay out, he enjoys the various activities around the ship. We like the casino. We also like the MDR and we do enjoy formal nights. Quantum looks so appealing but I've read some negatives.
Anyway, enough rambling. Suggestions or experiences you'd like to share? Thanks in advance!!

Just got off Allure today... I have never felt the boat rock until this time around.. Constant movement. Had a great trip and Royal does such a great job but it was uncomfortable at times.

Went to Ambergris Caye for a week in 2012. Awesome place. Belize has great snorkeling and Mayan ruins. I'd suggest either one of those. The ride in the cab through Belize City from the airport to the water taxi was about as much exposure to the city I think I'll ever need.
