Is it possible to drop off our luggage at Southampton before our embarkation time? Our time for getting to the terminal is 4pm but were driving for 8hrs to get there. I'm planning on arriving around 2pm and hoping to drop off the bags before heading off somewhere for a couple of hours.

i used 'Your Parking Space' for a may cruise. my space is in the Ibis car park for less than £60 for 14 nights. Granted it is 1 mile from the terminal so maybe an uber.

Sailing on Saturday, found out today my cabin number. Only booked last week. Again same as above just checked my booking.

"We were unable to locate this member number, please try again." this is the message i get after putting in my C&A number. No pre gold status, no previous cruise. I have called them 3 times, 3 times they said it would be fixed within 24hrs. I've gave up now.

Not for me, cannnot see any status not even pre gold

We cancelled although no refund as yet. Really disappointed with rci. As I said in my email to them, instead of them planning what I could do when they knew it was cancelled, they should have informed passengers at the earliest opportunity. Also compensation was non existent.

I got an email this week from RCI letting me know that the Jewel has been redeployed so no cruise for me. We booked in October for a short 4 day cruise from Rome on the 17th August.

Luckly it was part of a driving holiday, so no flights etc to cancel. But hotel bookings and an apartment booked were all centred around the cruise departure.

Anyway a bit more planning to do now as we have got 4 days to fill now, only bonus is not doing the drive from lake garda to Rome.

The wifi will be a welcome addition for me. We will be in the middle of a 2 week road trip when we sail on her in August. Only my second cruise after the Anthem this year and the wifi was excellent throughout that cruise.

Just had an email from RCi, my cruise from Rome on 17/8/16 is now leaving 4hrs earlier. It's now leaving at 5pm instead of 9pm. I'm driving from Salo on lake garda, so it means a really early start now. Damn it. The email never said why, although we do get a couple of hrs longer in Nice and an hr extra in Barcelona.

I thought of doing this, were doing a driving holiday next year (August) to Salo on lake garda from Scotland. I noticed that there was a 4 nighter from Rome visiting Nice a long stop in Barcalona then sea day back to Rome.

Seeing as we were going to Salo i thought we should wait till we were in Italy before trying too book.

The price started at £720 for 2 (inside cabin), then it increased too £800 then £920 now it's dropped to £620. So i scrapped the original plan and booked at £620. (actually it was only a plan in my head, as soon as it came out my mouth, it was squashed lol)

My better half didnt fancy not knowing if we would be cruising or trying to book hotels etc and at the booking price i was comfortable.

I will keep an eye on it though, i fancied the not knowing part as the trip is going to be an adventure anyway. But the bargain hunter in me is still uneasy.

I had the same issue on thursday, on saturday i went to the website and found a 4 day cruise out of rome on the 17/8/16 that i had been watching had dropped to a price i was comfortable paying. I booked it, but now when i went on the website the cruise is no longer there. :confused:

When i spoke with my TA about this she played stupid and said she hadnt heard about it. Thats the first and last time she is used, useless.

Great review so far, i'm not too far from Helensburgh myself. I'm looking forward to the rest of the review. I'm sailing on Anthem on the 15th of Sept.

I'm sure you can log out of one and log into another, i think i read it on here. Hopefully someone will confirm it.

We went to see Shrek the musical in the Kings Theatre in Glasgow on Thursday night. My Mrs is going to be disappointed that she isnt going to get her picture taken with Shrek now.
