We are sailing on Sunday in a GS and OS (B2B) and both emails from the Concierge's for both weeks never mentioned that the Lounge is open for Beer and Wine during the day. Did they stop doing it due to COVID?

You could always cancel your bid.😉
But FWIW, the Genie is just part of the STAR experience. As a fellow Pin, you would find the Genie extras really aren't anything special anyway. At least that was our experience on the 2020 Allure TA.
We really want to check out the Star Loft Suite so not going to cancel it. If we don't get it, no big loss. Next time.

Will definitely see once we get on board and compare our previous Genie experiences pre-covid.
I guess if we get the Royal Up next week and get a genie we can note the changes. Sounds a bit disappointing.

Talked to my doc. Fortunately this only hit me bad for one day. Still isolating until Tuesday, and will get another test before I start the drive to Texas. If I test positive still, and the doc said there is that chance, although I am not contagious, I won't make the drive. She said after 10 days from onset of symptoms, you are not contagious. She did say the plus side is that I'll have great immunity, so not to get the booster for another three months.
I am hoping I can still cruise and my husband has been taking tests and we are still keeping our distance. Nice to know that with Royal I won't lose any money. So as much as I'd like to go on this sailing...(the deal was outstanding) I can deal with what I need to do if the test is positive still. Thank you all for your input and advice. I'll wait until the week of the cruise before I make any firm decisions.
I'm so sorry as we are in Colorado as well and had to cancel 2 cruises in September as we both got COVID and hubby spent 13 day's in ICU. The good news was that we tested negative 30 days later. I am hoping you will test negative and get on the cruise ship. Good luck and get better!

I have not heard that but that could be true. I always buy the CT onboard and barter for a good price. I usually get 50% off.
WE usually barter as well. The last few times we paid $55.00 pp but I was able to get 12 people (our friends) to join us and I was successful in negotiating the wines. The last few times the offerings were mostly white wines and pretty cheap wines so they were nice enough to sit down with me to pick the wine's for each course. We will be on Oasis in November so I am hoping to do so again.

I am so sorry to hear this. Hopefully, your TA is on the phone getting this resolved with the Resolutions Department.

Looking forward to cruising again. Thank you so much for the Review.

Who are the concierge's in the Suite Lounge? We will be on the OASIS for Thanksgiving week and the week after. Thank you!

We usually tip the concierge $100:00 more if they do a lot for us,

This is pure SPECULATION on my part and I know there is no answer yet, but I have been wondering at what point Royal Caribbean and all the other cruise lines for that matter will no longer consider you "Fully Vaccinated" once the booster is approved and available. I know most people can't even get the booster as of yet. But I would imagine at some point the CDC will "recommend" a booster to cruise.
I have no idea. The vaccine doesnt even work. We took the vaccine to cruise and just tested positive. Had to cancel our cruise on Sunday! First time vaccinated in 20 years and yipee!

We are booked to go to Maya Chan in September. We're on a B2B so not sure what we will do on our second week. Maya Chan is lovely. It's a day pass and has kayaks, paddle boards, all - inclusive with a lovely lunch and unlimited drinks. They also offer massages on the beach. Not sure how much they charge as it has been at least 3 years since our last visit.

Awesome. Went into my edocs and was able to print them. Thank you!

Anyone else having an issue getting into the Luggage tags? I keep getting a message that the connection is not private.

Nadja is the suite concierge. Not sure who is in the Diamond Lounge.

We are getting ready to cruise in three weeks. Is RC STILL giving Pinnacles free internet? Trying to purchase everything we need to purchase before getting on the ship as I find it is usually cheaper. Thank you!

You can see the current ship time in the app at the top of the screen
Great. Guess I better download the app! LOL

How can I find out ship time vs port time? Trying to book some private excursions and don’t want to mess up the reservation. Thx

I flew on six different flights this month on United and they are definitely serving alcohol and snacks for all flights over two hours. Economy!

It appears that Pinnacle's are receiving the invites. I have received invites to go on Test Cruises for Allure, Ovation and Independence. I declined as we have two cruises in September and do not wish to be apart of a test cruise. We will wait until RC has all the proper protocol's in place before getting on a cruise ship.

RoyalUP? (Bid for stateroom upgrade)
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
We just found out that we finally got our first Royal Up accepted. WE are sailing on the Liberty, 4/3/22. We went from a JS to an OS. WE bid in the low range so were very excited to have gotten it. My BIL paid about $2500 more than we did by just booking it at full price so we aren't even going to mention how cheap we got this stateroom for.
