Thanks to all for the quick replies. Sounds like it is not nearly as bad as some of the commercial reviews.

We are booked in Neptune Suite Cabin SA008 on the Maasdam for the Sept. 12, 2016 Alaska cruise. I've seen some reports that depending on the location of the Neptune cabins on the Maasdam they can be noisy with moving of furniture for cleaning above on the Lido deck in the wee hours of the morning. Anyone have any experience with this particular cabin?

We are booked on HAL Maasdam on r/t 14 day Alaska cruise departing Seattle September 12, 2016, and plan to fly to Seattle the day before. Any thoughts/recommendations on Seattle hotels convenient to the cruise terminal to stay evening of Sept. 11th?
