We have cruised on both ships and enjoyed both of them. The Majestic is newer, larger and very beautiful. However if I had to choose it would be Coral. I enjoy the size of the Coral, the promenade deck and the fact that there are less passengers.

We have taken two cruises since December. One on Caribbean and one on Majestic. We thought the food was fine with a few dinners being excellent. We loved Crown Grill and Sabatini's. On Majestic we also ate in the French restaurant which was disappointing because the food was cold and the service was painfully slow. Some of the meals in the main dining room were a little too small for my husband but it was absolutely no problem to order two entrees.

Enjoying your posts. We board Majestic on March 26th for a California coastal cruise. If you visit Harmony restaurant I would love to hear your thoughts.

We want to book a limo or livery service to pick us up at LAX and take us to a hotel in San Pedro. Anyone have a recommendation?

We cruised on Caribbean Princess in mid December. As many have stated there were no crowds, no lines and no waiting for anything. I was quite impressed with how 95% of the passengers that I saw were complying with wearing a mask and keeping a safe distance from other passengers. I was so comfortable with all of the safety measures put in place that we are going on Majestic at the end of March.

Thanks so much for posting your experience on the Majestic. We are planning on doing the same cruise on Majestic in March.

Last week the prime rib on Caribbean was outstanding. Actually the best prime rib I have ever had on a cruise ship.

I ordered through the medallion so I did tip the person who delivered the coffee to our room.

We were on Caribbean Princess last week and staff told us the ship was at about 40% occupancy. There were no lines anywhere. Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze.

Booked a last minute cruise on Caribbean Princess for December 12 and had to share that I just was able to order bottles of vodka on-line.

Looking into giving HAL a try so thanks for your comparison. Nicely written!

Thanks for checking on this. We like to mix our before dinner drinks and enjoy them on the balcony.

From my conversations with Princess I think (hopefully) we can order bottles once we are onboard. My husband and I sometimes just like to mix our own drink and sit out on the balcony and watch the sun set.

We always order some bottles of vodka in advance but I agree that I cannot find them to order on our 2022 cruises. I did ask someone at Princess who didn't have an answer but wondered if it might be something you can order once onboard.

We are booked on Diamond Princess March 5, 2022 Buenos Aires to Santiago. I am hopeful but I highly doubt it will happen.

I really like being able to choose where to dine at the last minute so this whole reservation situation is making me a bit irritated. So if we don't make reservations and show up at the dining room at 8:30 do they send us away?

Thank you for sharing this recipe. I love the bran muffins on Princess ships and I am going to try this recipe this week.

We have four cruises booked for late 2021, 2022 and 2023. Each of the cruises has risen in price. Glad we booked in advance.

I just noticed that my husband's military discount was not applied. I called today and it was applied in minutes.

I really prefer to lock our phones in the safe for the duration of the cruise so I am hoping that having a paper patter will be an option. I find it wonderful to unplug from technology on my cruises.

We are vaccinated and ready to go. Sent my message...very easy and quick.

We have three cruises booked; February 2021 to the Caribbean, May 2021 to Norway, Sweden and Denmark and March 2022 to South America. If any of the ships sail we are going but I am guessing the February cruise could be cancelled.

Our 14 day cruise last June to the Baltics on Sapphire. We have been on a number of cruises but this was simply the best. All of our tours (except one...in St. Petersburgh) were fantastic, the hospitality on the Sapphire was outstanding and we met the nicest people from all over the world. When the current situation is over we do plan on doing this cruise again.

I received the email but when I just went on the website the sailings were not listed yet.
Cruise tour for Ireland and British Isles

We are also looking at this cruise tour. I am wondering if it is possible to add two additional days to the land portion in the hotel used by Princess. I can't find the answer and gave up waiting on hold with Princess.
