We don’t have a steakhouse on the ship, but I’m wondering if it is worth it to order the lobster in the MDR and just pay the fee.
Definitely worth the splurge on a night the menu didn’t appeal to you. Have done the filet and lobster several times and never regretted it!

Booked on her in December and am waiting to hear how the first sailing went! What did you love most???? Does anyone know who the Alchemists were? How about who is in the piano bar? Can’t wait to sail again!

Thanks for posting. Leaving on the paradise next week and was so glad to see your post. Was there Halloween activities on board? A costume contest?

Thanks for the link! Now to start planning....

If we are cruising 10/26 to 10/31, should we expect Halloween festivities? It would be fun to dress up!

I am going also. At first I logged in under Hubby's VIP # and it said he was not eligible. I put in my VIP # and it worked. He does not go to the Casino but I do so that makes sense why his VIP# does not apply. Does anyone know what time FTTF can check in for an 8 pm departure?
When I called last night to see if this could possibly be true, the Carnival rep stated that due to repositioning some of those booked on Fascination could not go. They put these rooms in a random drawing and only the VIFP number that was drawn is eligible. Thankfully my husband was one of the lucky ones so off we go!

I know! Me too!!!!! Ship doesn't leave until 8pm which I found very unusual and my boarding passes say to arrive at 3:30. It's a 2.5 hour drive for us but awesome as I only have to miss 1/2 day of work tomorrow.
I am not sure if the Elation is out of dry dock and is leaving from Jacksonville also. That may explain the late departure because I know The bridge in Jacksonville is low and tides have to be just right for ships to get under.... we have about the same drive, about 2 hrs and 45 mins so the late departure works out for us to as my husband and I both work night shift tonight! I always decorate our door but may have to skip this time.... we will see what I can pull off.

:D Same here! Thought that email had to be a scam when I first saw it!!!! I am still pinching myself as I pack!!

Have an unsolicited suggestion for her..... my son also has an online class and has a test scheduled while we are cruising. He emailed professor who opened up his last test for the day before we leave so he won't have to worry about it. Maybe she could get her work rearranged so she can enjoy herself.... maybe the professor will say no but we learned it is worth it to ask!

Making a playlist for my upcoming 🚢. What must have songs do you have on yours? Can't wait to sit on my aft balcony with the ❤️ Of my life, a cold drink, and some great (softly played) music!

Here try this link
Someone else posted this link in a different thread. We are staying on a different deck, so I just put that in the search bar. I am sure you can find it for the Victory as well.[/quote
Thanks! This worked great! Looks like 2 dividers can be removed making 2 huge balconies for our 4 rooms. Now..... just have to wait til August to sail away!
-
You can ask your cabin steward about your particular balcony divider. If it is possible, the steward will do it for you.

Thanks!

Does anyone know if the dividers between the aft balconies on the Victory can be opened? Our family have 4 in a row in August and are wondering if we will be able to interact while on our balconies....

Christmas time 2015 we left our carry on bag in the port as we collected the rest of our bags we placed outside of our rooms the night before. It had our personal hygiene items( including new perfume and cologne bottles) , my jewelry box, and some new clothes my kids had gotten for Christmas. I was upset that it was lost and called Carnival and the port several times but was told no one had seen it. We chalked it up as a loss..... about 18 months later I got a call from a woman who had picked it up at the port and taken it home with her, placing it in her garage when she realized it wasn't hers. She stated she had forgotten about it until she was cleaning out her garage and found it recently. She offered to mail it to me. I was shocked and excited to get it back... unfortunately, the cologne and perfume smelled awful and the clothes no longer fit my teenage sons! I did get my jewelry back and am thankful the woman called- I just wished it was a little earlier!

I also cruised a week before my birthday. Didn't list it any where on my reservation and was shocked to receive a spa gift card and free photo certificate in my room. What a nice surprise! 👍🏻

I love to decorate my cabin door! I have done it on my last five or so cruises. Never had anything removed even on my New Years Eve cruise when I put beads up expecting people passing by would take them to wear! Have fun planning and making your room a little more you!!!

Left on 3/16 on the Elation. Had 1:00 to 1:30 check in time...... line was extremely long when we arrived at 12:50. Thankfully we had priority check in so we didn't have to wait but the lines was all the way to the parking lot!

Thanks scubagirrl! They have licenses but certainly only want to use a trustworthy provider! Time to find another plan....

I haven’t sailed yet but I have read that small sandwiches and canapés are served in the sky lounge before dinner….
