  1. I am going also. At first I logged in under Hubby's VIP # and it said he was not eligible. I put in my VIP # and it worked. He does not go to the Casino but I do so that makes sense why his VIP# does not apply. Does anyone know what time FTTF can check in for an 8 pm departure?

When I called last night to see if this could possibly be true, the Carnival rep stated that due to repositioning some of those booked on Fascination could not go. They put these rooms in a random drawing and only the VIFP number that was drawn is eligible. Thankfully my husband was one of the lucky ones so off we go!

  2. I know! Me too!!!!! Ship doesn't leave until 8pm which I found very unusual and my boarding passes say to arrive at 3:30. It's a 2.5 hour drive for us but awesome as I only have to miss 1/2 day of work tomorrow.

I am not sure if the Elation is out of dry dock and is leaving from Jacksonville also. That may explain the late departure because I know The bridge in Jacksonville is low and tides have to be just right for ships to get under.... we have about the same drive, about 2 hrs and 45 mins so the late departure works out for us to as my husband and I both work night shift tonight! I always decorate our door but may have to skip this time.... we will see what I can pull off.

Someone else posted this link in a different thread. We are staying on a different deck, so I just put that in the search bar. I am sure you can find it for the Victory as well.[/quote

Thanks! This worked great! Looks like 2 dividers can be removed making 2 huge balconies for our 4 rooms. Now..... just have to wait til August to sail away!

  4. Christmas time 2015 we left our carry on bag in the port as we collected the rest of our bags we placed outside of our rooms the night before. It had our personal hygiene items( including new perfume and cologne bottles) , my jewelry box, and some new clothes my kids had gotten for Christmas. I was upset that it was lost and called Carnival and the port several times but was told no one had seen it. We chalked it up as a loss..... about 18 months later I got a call from a woman who had picked it up at the port and taken it home with her, placing it in her garage when she realized it wasn't hers. She stated she had forgotten about it until she was cleaning out her garage and found it recently. She offered to mail it to me. I was shocked and excited to get it back... unfortunately, the cologne and perfume smelled awful and the clothes no longer fit my teenage sons! I did get my jewelry back and am thankful the woman called- I just wished it was a little earlier!
