  1. Hi we are about to board Vision of the seas in 2 weeks we are starting from Barcelona Venice Pompeii rome ect have you any tips for the trips to these places as we have found RC prices are a bit pricey.

Hi I was on the same cruise in May with Hailey- My husband and I had wonderful tours in Rome and Almafi coast with Rome in a Limo! In Barcelona we used Barcelona Day Tours, Athens with PGT- Private Greek Tours and in Cannes we just walked off the ship and did our own thing- I read Rick Steve's Books too! Also worth paying for private guide in Vatican and Pompeii- they were through Rome in a Limo- the pricing is so much better than Royal Caribbean Tours plus a small more manageable group of 8! Have a fabulous time- I am still in Cruise withdrawal and it was in May!! It was amazing!!!

  2. Oh Hailz! So love reading this -you remembered all Nec"s interesting stories too! I believe I have a pic of your hubby also holding the umbrella and a walk on the carpets in the continuation of this fabulous day!!!! I will be sad when you finish the trip! I may just start reading your next cruise too! [emoji3] you are doing such a fabulous recount of the cruise!!! I need to book another one soon!!!!!!

  3. While in Monaco, we saw the yellow submarine that inspired The Beatles.

Unfortunately, we didn't see any famous people. It's a good excuse to go back I guess!

    More pics!!!

We got back to the port at 3.45pm. Uli & Joey decided to go for a walk around the town, but the rest of us got a tender back to the ship.

The four of us, (us two & LaMac & Mike) went to the bar & had a few drinks.

Then it was time to get ready!!! Mick & I had a date in Giovanni's! (& Mick still needed formal shoes from dancing too hard the weekend before we left, remember?! So the MDR was out while doing formal nights until we got him some shoes!)

Our meal was absolutely perfect & soooooo delicious but I forgot to bring my camera... Never fear, we went back again and I got pics!!!

After dinner we went to listen to a band in the Centrum... On they were terrible!!! They were the same band that played poolside every day... & I could have paid them to stop! It was honestly that terrible! Every. Friggen. Day.

We bumped into Annette & Julie, (our MDR table mates), who said they wanted to come to our next specialty restaurant with us... Yay!!! We had made some new friends!

We were in bed by 11pm, getting ready for Italia in the morning!!!

    Next stop, La Spezia!!!

I am having such fun with your review! Like I am talking with you daily lol! And happy you reported on how terrible the band was!!! We were always so happy when they stopped playing!!

  4. I had more time to post, so here's Ontenyent.

We stayed here for 5 days and we didn't have any downtime. It was awesome and we fit about 2 weeks worth of things in!!!

    Ontenyent, Valencia, Spain. (5 days)

Our bus ride was LOOOOOOONG! 18.5hours long to be exact. & we had to sit near the toilet- & it stunk! We drove through the night, but I couldn't sleep, of course, so I started & finished a James Patterson novel. (It was brilliant).

We finally arrived early the next morning where we met up with Mick's aunty Fiona & Uncle John, who we were staying with in Ontenyent.

The bull arena next to the station, (that is still in use!)
