  1. I just called Carnival. I spoke to the first rep who said that because the wench changed the time to 2:30 that I could potentially have to wait to 2:30 instead of 12:30. I found the original boarding pass deep inside my purse when trying to find my ATM card. My paper boarding says 12:30. The rep said to do a print preview to see the time and it said 2:30. She said that she thinks I will be okay sticking to the time that I had checked in but that she wasn't sure. I asked to speak to someone else for a 2nd opinion and got disconnected while waiting so I called back. That rep assured me that when I check in they wouldn't give me a hard time.

    2 opinions...2 different answers.

Take the original boarding pass, they only look at the time printed on it. Get to the port, go with original plans and don’t say a word at the terminal. IMHO I don’t for see a problem.

  2. Cruised the Sunshine last December. Parking for the Sunshine was in Garage 5, pretty sure of the number it’s the new garage. It was a TOTAL nightmare...no kiosk to pay when you enter before the cruise sooooo you pay when you leave. It was total gridlock for 20+ minutes for my husband to get from level 2 down to pick me and our luggage up. Yes we did get a porter but we never take their time up to take our luggage to our car, they work hard. It wouldn’t made it any quicker to have existed the garage. We sail the Sunshine again in April and May, hopefully this will be corrected.

  3. They could have been filming ship from the pier or elsewhere besides ship. Drones are allowed on board for use in port off the ship

[emoji1303] I wonder if it was a GoPro in the water slide? They made no mention, just curious.

  4. Those cheaper rates only work on land (you know, where are cell towers). At sea, you would have a huge bill from Cellular At Sea, who is Carnival's satellite provider for cell service.

  5. How do you make sure you're not roaming and getting big charges from your cell company? Sorry I'm a bit ignorant.

Contact your provider, they can tell you. You can also purchase a package thru them that will allow you to text/call at a cheaper rate.

The hub is kinda slow, but it is a way to keep in touch. It is $5 for the entire cruise, but that’s $5 per device. So probably $20 for the entire time is pocket change! Enjoy
