It was a few years ago for us too, but P and O ran shuttle buses. From memory they had to provide transfers because it is a busy working port and walking wasn't an option - think we were on a Select Fare so didn't pay for the transfer. Worked really well and dropped off at a good location in town..

Stockholm is fabulous and the sail away through the islands is brilliant too.

That's my understanding too. But be aware any positive test and it's most likely that you'll be taken off the ship and placed in quarantine in Spain. That's what is really worrying me. Why are P&O offering passengers on cruises to Spain the option of rebooking?

I tend to think that rebooking is the sensible thing to do. But we've been looking forward to having a different Xmas for ages - but don't want to be shut in a cabin for the duration due to a COVID outbreak.

Just been told by P and O that N127 Ventura to Canaries on 17th Dec is eligible to rebook. Deadline to decide is 48 hours before sailing.

If this is true, P&O should change their protocols on their web site so everyone knows, not just the few through social media.

Thanks bobstheboy. I'm due to Xmas cruise this Friday on Ventura. Given the option, I think I'd rebook another cruise for sometime later.

My wife and I are going on Ventura soon. Freedom Dining, what's P and O policy on "joining a table"?

Is it still a thing at the moment or will they only allow us to dine at a table for two?

Travelling to the Canaries very soon but just noticed this on the FCDO website for entry to Spain.

"Spain will accept the UK’s COVID-19 vaccination record. If you are travelling with a printed PDF proof of vaccination status, it must date from 1 November to ensure that the certificate can be scanned successfully."

Does that mean if you got your NHS COVID Pass issued before 1st November it will not scan into the Spanish system? What do people think? Last minute scramble for another paper copy?

Thanks for the reply - sounds nice and easy. Last cruise involved Port Everglades - I still have nightmares about that place - but Venice sounds very civilised.
