  1. Yesterday we found a terrific white sand beach at Luc Bay in Bonaire. You could walk out for almost 2 miles and still be in water waist high. The water is protected by a coral reef and was amazingly clear. There must have been 20 wind surfers zigzaging back and forth which was quite a spectacle. Today Aruba!

  2. Hello

Any family on this 10 night cruise out of Ft Lauderdale. We just got off the Sapphire today returning from Hawaii and French Polynesia. We are staying on the Emerald for the next 10 nighter...so I may have to run to Target to buy some sweat pants. Does anybody know how to loose 10 pounds in 2 days. LOL

  3. I did a back to back on the Jewel a while back and their Spa is well worth the surcharge. It had several showers, one in the middle of the room with glass walls. There was a steam, sauna, small cold plunge pool and whirlpool all in the men's room. There were 4 or 5 nice lounge chairs with sweeping ocean views. Ice water and fruit was available.

I sail on the Pacific Princess Sept 18th and am curious as to what the mens set up is. I have never sailed such a small ship and will be glad to find out what kind of an experience it will be.

If anyone has sailed one of Princess's small ships tell me what the spa set up is like.

    Thanks

I have sailed on the Crown Princess and you will love this ship. There is a large dressing room with a sink and toilet off to the right. You walk from the dressing room into the shower area with 4 showers that face each other. To the right is the large steam room and to the left is the large sauna. I have also sailed the Emerald and it is the same. They were always active but never too crowded.

The Grand Princess is a total different story. Horrible set up as you enter the male sauna and steam from an outside pool area. A lady accidently entered the male staem room much to her surprise.

You will find all ages on Princess and because you are traveling after Thanksgiving I don't think there will be many children

We are sailing on a back to back on the Ruby next March for a total of 20 days which will be the longest cruise I have ever taken. This Sept we will cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii on the Pacific Princess. I have never been on a small vessel so I am curious as to what it will be like.

  5. HELP

Can anyone tell me what the Thermal Suites are on NCL's Jewel. I have noticed that they are not co-ed but I wonder what they are. I called NCL and all they could tell me was that they charge $15 per day for admission. Holland is converting to a mixed thermal suite idea so at least NCL is keeping the boys and girls apart. Who wants to go into a steam or sauna with a suit on....eeeek!
