I've seen lots of videos from balconies and I'm wondering what are some of the best ways to mount the camera? I fear it going overboard if clamped to the railing!

Can someone tell me the bed placement of Cabin 14174 & 14580 on the Harmony of the Seas.
14174 bed by bathroom
14580 bed by balcony
(according to this thread, post #4)

. . . Might be helpful if you posted the cabin number you are looking at or asking about.
9200 or 10598; both OV with large balcony. Planning on 2 under-12's sleeping on the sofa bed as long as neither of them cross the imaginary divider line! ;)

I cannot seem to find an accurate description or picture of the sofa bed (in sleeping position) in a 4-person cabin (OV balcony) on Harmony!
I have seen pictures depicting a typical fold-out hide-a-bed with a "mattress", a simple fold-out bed which uses the fabric and foam of the seating area as the mattress, a trundle bed, and a made-up sofa with a bed coming out of the ceiling. All have stated they were on Harmony...which one is accurate?

We will be getting to the Hilton Marina in Fort Lauderdale around 11:00PM. We'd like to get to a local drugstore/supermarket/liquor store to pickup a few things and the allowed 2 bottles of wine.
Is the area around the Hilton safe to walk (or Uber) to any of these places at night? Or should we make a trip in the morning?

I’m wondering the same! When are you sailing? I’m in August-I’ll let you know.
October. I hope I can remember to check in on this thread after August! Thanks!

Has anyone had experience with a child moving down an age group? Our group has 4 kids, ages 9, 9, 11, & 12. We are hoping that the 12 yr old can move down to be with the rest of the kids...

We aren't planning anything either in Nassau, also going in Oct - you on the Oct 20th sailing by chance? I just didn't see anything worth doing at 7am.
Yes, we are! Have you signed up for the M&M?

I find that Reef flip-flops have great arch support.

I'd budget around 10 minutes to get off and on.
Wow! That is fast!

We don't plan on doing much, if anything, at Nassau in October. We'd like to stay on and enjoy what may be an empty ship. It seems though that a lot of people stay on at Nassau, so we shall see.
However, if we want to get off to say we had boots on the ground, when should we get off (right away? Is there a rush to get off?) and how long should we budget for getting on and off (not how long should we stay on the island; questioning if the getting on and off is quick).
We have our eye on the microbrewery near the terminal if we do get off the ship. Is there a minimum age to visit? We will have kids with us (all 12 and under).

Do the Platinum, Gold, and Silver members get a better price by having early access to booking? Or is it just a better selection?
I'd like to compare a DCL cruise to a RCCL cruise(sale ends tonight) for next October...can anyone do a mock booking for me who is Platinum?

Hope I'm not hijacking, but I have a similar question regarding MTD.
There are 8 of us traveling together and we've made 6:30 reservations for MTD. What happens if we can't make it to the 6:30 reservation? Are we put back into the general pool or will they hold a table for 8 until we show up?
The whole idea of making a reservation if you opted-in for MTD confuses me....

As of 7AM EST, the KSF promo is listed on the website along with the WOW sale but neither discount is showing in the final price breakdown. It seems like they "flip the switch" between 9AM and 10AM EST...I expect the KSF discount to show by then.

After you put in your guest information, you should find the option to make your res refundable on the same screen you choose your dining option

Hey, thanks! I never go that far when checking prices but now I know!

I don't believe it's an IT issue. I have tried IE, Firefox, & Chrome and the option for refundable isn't shown.
I feel it's the new normal. Is deceitful the right word? I'm not saying it is, I just feel that some people may not know they have a choice and make a NRD booking. Not everyone reads the fine print.

I have done this with My Time Dining.
If you can get their cruise booking number you can do it yourself for MTD on the Cruise Planner. I just linked my family with another for a 7-night on Harmony. We were more than 180 days out when I linked the 2. It's cumbersome as you have to do each day individually. Choose the day and time, lookup and link the other family, and go to your cart to checkout. You will get a confirmation email for each time your checkout. Unfortunately there is no way to add more than one day at a time to your cart.
Hope you can make it work. Perhaps it would be the same routine for early dining.

Here is a spreadsheet to help you figure out if the drink package is worth it.
This looks very helpful. Do you mind offering a quick explanation on how to use it?

Thanks for the replies!

I'm sure this has been asked recently since the launch of the renovated website but I searched and couldn't find a workaround.
I have 2 bookings; one in 2018 and another in 2019. The 2018 booking was made before they changed the website and it shows up under my "Upcoming Cruises" section of the dashboard. The 2019 booking was made within the last month and it doesn't show. I have contacted both my planner (phone) and RCCL's support (via contact us) and both suggested I use the "Link a missing cruise" option. When I input my reservation number it states, "The reservation you entered is not correct. Please try again." I have also tried this link but it circles me back to my dashboard where I only see my 2018 booking.
Has anyone been able to make a new, recent booking appear in the new dashboard? What did you have to do?
-
We are looking at these 2 cabins for our family. Our planner at RCCL tells us that the divider between the 2 balconies can be opened but some pictures and videos I've seen do not support this. It appears there is a diagonal support which may be the reason for not opening.
Can anyone confirm that the divider between these 2 cabins can or cannot be opened? It is imperative to us.
Thank you!

Thanks, Bob! What are the dates of the dry dock?
Harmony question would you do it?

I'm wondering the same thing about an upgrade email I got. $500 for an upgrade to a JS. We currently are in a spacious balcony on the hump. Is the suite that much bigger than the spacious balcony?
