Piaa..yes, we are on the same cruise this coming Saturday. St, Barts (and the cruise) will be a great way to celebrate your birthday! We will be escaping New England in a few days for a some time in St John before sailing.

Piaa...my partner's birthday is also the day we visit St Barts and we've made reservations for lunch at Shellona. It had been recommended to us from some locals during our last visit.

With a blizzard approaching us here in Boston I've begun dreaming of my March journey on SeaDream. As a first-timer I have a question about the Bourbon selection for some of you veterans.
Are there particular brands of bourbon that SeaDream has at the bars? While otherwise a petty question the trip is to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday and as a bourbon fan I wanted to ahead to see what the typically options are. Does SeaDream accept requests and make attempts to stock? Would they allow me to bring aboard a certain spirit?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Emerald Beach 'Resort' is serviceable - clean, safe, close to the airport and cruise terminal. They had a decent beach area with some good shade to retreat to (an important requirement for me!) and a good size bar with nice views to both the pool and beach area. It is not someplace I could see staying at for an extended vacation but I was there a couple two years back before and after a Seabourn cruise for a couple of nights.
We are sailing SeaDream out of St. Thomas in March and have opted to stay on St John a few nights before. Thankfully the place we are staying, Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel, was spared from significant damaged this fall and has remained operational.

Piaa, We were thinking the 1:00 PM ferry has well although it's always tough to leave St. John:):) :-)
