  1. FYI - the PeachPass in GA also works with all FL Sunpass booths.  The transponder is just a small RFID sticker that goes below your rear view mirror.

There is an initial cost of $20 to open the account, however that gets applied as toll credit as soon as you activate, making the system zero cost to set up.  You can manage the account via iOS and order multiple stickers for all the vehicles in your family.

  2. Check out eXRS options.  Folks have had good results on larger ships, and they come with text and vibrate features. If you are considering buying the internet pkg, and your kids have iOS devices, iMessage works over the internet too.

Only one of our daughters will be old enough to check out on her own, so we'll have to go check in and out anyway.

Lastly, if you will be in Europe, please make sure the freq range you are considering is legal over there.  Some styles that are legal in the states are not in UK and mainland Europe.

This is interesting. We had considered Wilkie talkies but were unsure if they would work well?

We've used them in previous cruises, and did not have issues on the ship.  We even had a friend stay on the boat when we went to NCL's private island, and we could chat back and forth.

Now, we have nicer Motorola radios, not toys.  They were about $40/pair when we bought them quite a while back.

  4. You'll need to login to your BOA card account. Click on the rewards & deals drop down at the top of the page.

That takes you to the rewards page.

Click on the Credit Cards box, it will populate a summary below the box.
Click on the RCCL Signature Visa Option, and it will take you to the page to redeem the rewards.

Near the bottom of the next page is a View Details/Redeem option. That is the page where you can select OBC or cruise discounts.

    Good luck and have fun!

  5. Emcee - I read it as each subsequent device is $1 cheaper per day.

    1 device is $13 and 2 devices is $25 ($13+$12).

Just so you know, you can share login credentials across multiple devices.  If you buy the 1 device package, only one device can be connected at a time.

Unless you think you will need to have 4 devices online at the same time, you may want to consider one of the less expensive packages.

Rustic is not necessarily bad, and I meant the feel of the beach and what was offered on the beach.

The bar was nice, but I didn't step foot in the back of it where the bathrooms were. I trust my DH's description of the men's bathroom.

We'll be there again in April - we liked the place, and we liked the beach and the water, and we liked what we got for $10. But your pictures show it as something a lot greener and grander than it really was - and that's all I was trying to say. That's actually a compliment to your photography skills.

We're heading to Costa Maya in April as well.  What ship are you arriving on?  We'll be on Independence of the Seas in early April.  Looking forward to spending part of the day at Blue Kay.  If it is not what it cracked up to be, we'll head back to the ship for short lines on Flowrider. 😉
