  1. It's just amazing how people all over the planet are doing similar things, with minor variations to the theme of self protection.  In Southern California, there are so many variables affecting areas that may be only 10-15 miles apart.  We live about 35 miles north of downtown Los Angeles in a valley (not the San Fernando Valley) generally and lightly affected so far, but face the same kind of government implemented restrictions and precautions as the highly affected parts of the south eastern corner of the State.  This is very much for the benefit of all of us.

My wife fell and sprained her wrist while out walking a couple of days ago.  Getting into the urgent care center involved going through three check points and masking up just to get an x-ray.  Responsive prayer has a whole new perspective during a Zoom religious service.

Wishing everyone the best and hoping for all of you to come out the other side together and whole.

  2. ARE THESE THE SAME???? I a made a reservation for Super Shuttle to pick us up at the end of the cruise and there did not seem to be a Port of San Pedro choice - so I picked Port of Los Angeles - am not really finding addresses! or a phone number for Super Shuttle - HELP!

The Port of Los Angeles is located in San Pedro - They are the same place.

  3. Our hotel concierge offered the following advice on using a taxi to get us from the airport to the hotel:

We recommend the following taxi companies: "Taxi Stockholm 15 00 00", "Taxi Kurir30 00 00" or "Taxi 020", please ask for a flat rate

    Gina,

Are you back from the Baltic cruise? Just wanted to know how it went. How was the tour company in Saint Petersburg? Hope you enjoyed the trip as much as we did last year.

    Best regards,

  4. Wanted to put in some good words for TJ Travel in St. Petersburg. We spent three days and an evening with the TJ folks, thoroughly enjoying the company of Dena and Elena, seeing so many places and learning more than we could have imagined about Russia and its people.

The TJ folks are amazingly knowledgeable in so many aspects of Russian, history, geography, society, politics, economics and other issues. We were also fortunate enough to experience TJ tours in Helsinki and Berlin, with some "value added" experiences in both cities. Boris from Berlin is just great!!

In planning which company to book for shore excursions, we were so impressed with the quick responses we got to inquiries, getting answers in less than 24 hours and on weekends. They were kind enough to include quick stops for photo ops in St Petersburg and Berlin that were not included in the published itinerary.

We will take any chance we can get to work with the TJ folks again, and highly recommend them to anyone interested in a first class touring experience.
