Isn't the Harmony doing a Saturday to Saturday schedule and the Allure staying Sunday to Sunday?

That's correct....we're on here one year from now and it's Saturday to Saturday.

I assume it's easier to finish most of the other work by the landing area before adding it.

That wouldn't stop them from putting the upper bracing on that supports the slides right after takeoff....that area appears to be already finish painted.

I'd like to know why we're not seeing any structure being put on for the Abyss.....

We booked a balcony on Harmony for Valentine's Day, 2017 for $2800. That was only $100 more than Allure and $250 more than Freedom for the same week.

My first cruise on her is still 22 months away and I'm already getting excited.....

12 Meter America's Cup yacht racing on St. Maarten is a must do for us every time we're there.....

Are the karaoke booths still on Freedom after her dry dock upgrades?

They're still there, but one of them was broken last week. My kids and their friends evidently spent a lot of time down there.

Anyone know what time we have to be out of our rooms by also?

I'm pretty sure rooms have to be vacated by 8am.

I still kinda act that way. I've cruised about a dozen times, but l still get that first cruise excitement. Newbies are cruisers just like me.

We (SWMBO and I) go out on our 5th cruise this weekend and I'll get to see it through new eyes because it's our kids' first....and I don't mind at all. It should be fun.

You'll be getting off her as the family and I are getting on her.....and I've already given my Klingons the task of catching the elevator gnomes so the 4/5 sailing can keep the ship.....:D

AFAIK the online waivers are only for Oasis class. Everytime I've done Freedom class I had to wait until I was onboard.

Freedom has them now....I just did them a couple of weeks ago when I checked in for my cruise....

if u can post the compass for the eastern caribbean that would be greatly appreciated. we are trying to figure out when the formal nights are. thanks

I've already asked that question.....current Eastern formal nights are Monday (Coco Cay) and Friday (sea day)....

cruiseguy, you want airfare sticker shock??? Try flying 4 people to Orlando during Spring Break.....I didn't quite account for that much effect from the House of Mouse.

The OP started off comparing RCCL prices/value to NCL and Carnival, not complaining about how expensive RCCL is compared to how it used to be. Seems to my that my comment was very relevant. Now then, bouhunter, if you have nothing else constructive to add to the discussion....

Really, though...it depends on the time of day. Daytime, Sky Bar or Pool Bar, though we'll probably spend time in the Solarium this trip. At night, Schooner, Bull and Bear and Olive or Twist are all possibilities.

What cruise are you guys going on? April 5th by chance, Eastern Caribbean?

Their signature says they don't go until November.....SWMBO and I and the 2 Klingons will be on April 5, though....:D

Go outside on Deck 4 and walk all the way forward and up the stairs.....

For those asking, there has been no access to the new stateroom on deck 12 as they will not be ready until the March 1st sailing, according to HD Michael Rasmussen. The attendees of the top tier party have been invited to view 5 stateroom categories on Saturday.

My favorite days are when the ship is bouncing around in the waves...hope we get some of that on our March 1 Freedom cruise!

There is only one kind of "bouncing" I want to experience when we go on Freedom in April......:D

Do you think the propulsion issues will be fixed prior to our April 12, 2015 sailing on the Freedom of the Seas??

Freedom is making full speed even on only the azipods.....nothing to worry about....

SWMBO and I love to sit at the Pool Bar or the Sky Bar and people watch......it can tend to be quite entertaining. :D

Yep, the climbing wall is on 13 aft......tenders usually board on deck 1, at the hump IIRC, but I could be wrong. It's been a while since I was out on Freedom.
