  1. The Carnival website now says if you have the booster you can test up to 3 days out (actually almost 4 days because depart day is not considered one of the "3 days before").

If you have only the 2 shots you are limited to 2 days before (plus departure day so almost 3 days).

You can use a printed copy of the test - it must show certain things like date of test, who ordered it, type of test, your name.  It's all on the Carnival website.

I wasn't planning on using VeriFly... is this a MUST to board??

Also, while were on the topic... what exactly do you need??  The boarding pass, neg test results, and show vaccine card, passport?  Isn't that everything or am I missing something?

And your printed boarding pass.  VeriFLY is not a must use thing.

  3. I downloaded VeriFLY today and used it without any problems for a cruise this Thursday.  Of course had to allow the app to see the things on my phone.  Took a pic of my vaccination card, uploaded it in the app.  Saved my Walgreens covid test onto the phone as a PDF file and uploaded that in the app.  The app already knew my health review (whatever Carnival calls it) was done and it already had the green check.  The reviews of the 2 items i uploaded were done within 15 minutes or so and they had the green check.  The app could be a tad more user friendly - I work in IT and I'm saying that.  Just be sure to read the screens which do give some direction.

Can anyone decipher the testing requirements for children? I have a 5, 3 and 6 month old and am interested in cruising in May. My understanding is, the 5 year old has 2 shots so he will require a PCR/Antigen 2 or 3 days prior. The 3 year old is obviously not vaccinated so she would need that test plus another one on embarkation. As for the 6 month old, she is entirely exempt from testing. Do I have it right?

Carnival's website has the info.  Some things changed for the better on March 1.
