Starting to get a little nervous lol I keep reading so really NOT so good reviews about paradise, should I have book another ship:confused:

In Grand Cayman maybe do an island tour for $15-$20 pp that ends at 7 mile beach. After summer is over they can inform their teachers/friends they've been to hell and back this summer.
Cozumel is good for beaches with kids. Maybe go to a ruin if they like history.
LOL they would really get a kick out of that!

Thank you for the info, forgive me if the questions sounded stupid, this is our first cruise and I was nervous lol getting dh to get in a suit and tie is impossible unless there's been a death.

I have been looking on carnival .com for some reasonably priced excursions for our family of 7. We will be sailing May 30th to Grand Cayman and Cozumel, and I would like to find something fun to do with our kids (ages 7-11, and 19yr old stepson) I have heard that it is cheaper to book outside of carnival for excursions? If so does anyone have any recommendations?

We will be on the 5 day cruise may 30th, I'm just curious about the formal night, has anyone been on paradise recently that could tell me about it? How dressy is it? Can the kids attend, if so do they need to be dressy also? What night is formal night or elegant night ( whichever it's called) any info would be greatly appreciated, as this is our first cruise!

I managed to contact him through Facebook and he mailed me a motorized consent forms, so I believe we are good to go with that and their birth certificates.

thank you I do have their official birth certificates with seal and document stating I have full custody. I will also call carnival just to make sure, don't want anything ruining our first vacation. thank you all for your helpfulness!

We will be going on our first cruise May 30th 2015 on carnival paradise, porting in tampa.... My question is do my 3 children need notarized "permission" from my ex to travel? we were never married, I have always had full custody and I haven't seen him in almost 9 years, the travel agent told us I just need their birth certificates and valid i.d or passport for myself and boyfriend. but I was looking at another post and noticed someone mention this notarized permission needed...... Any info would be greatly appreciated.
