The service was great. Food was ok if you weren’t at the buffet. Great at the specialty dining like Le Petit Chef. The ballet/violinist were the best entertainment (the shows were just too weird for my taste). The spa was really great and I enjoyed the art gallery. Annnnnd the balcony cabin was pretty spacious. That’s about all I can think of. Sorry I’m not well versed when it comes to writing reviews.

To be quite honest, the most memorable parts of this trip were off the ship.

I was on this same cruise and it was my first time on a Celebrity ship. The crowd was definitely much older, but you're right...there is a severe lack of actual things to do on this ship and that makes me want to try Celebrity again in approximately 30 years. The cruise WAS relaxing though, so I'll give it that much.

Hello! I was hoping to see if you had any info on Cabin 13007 for the Divina? We were just assigned this cabin after getting the Fantastica Balcony Guarantee. We're sailing on the 14th. Thanks!

We are on the Epic right now. There are no problems with UBP. My girlfriend had the rebellious fish (no charge) in a regular glass. If you want the souvenir glass, it's $1.75 I believe. Had glenfiddich and Jack Daniels on the rocks, all covered by UBP. Saw others ordering Lemon Drops, Bahama Mamas, etc with UBP with no problem.

Consider La Cucina to be sort of like your local Olive Garden. I second the opinions that it is not special enough or romantic enough for a proposal. I'd also abandon thoughts of doing it the first night unless you are boarding very early and thinkmyouncan swing it. I'd plan on it for second night so you have some time to plan. I love the idea of a performer. What about Le Cirque for 1st or 2nd night and seeing if you can get a performer or the show host to present her with the ring. Or I'd get the room steward to help you set up a bottle of champagne, rose petals strewn around the room (bring your own- the fake ones they sell by the bag at a craft store are nice enough) and a decorated table on your aft balcony. Final option- couples massage first evening of 2 nd day and same thing- they can decorate the suite with the Rose petals, have champagne there. Maybe even spell out "will you marry me" in flowers on the floor in the room or something like that.

I love these ideas, but in regards to the Cirque idea, I know she will never go for such a public display. I really love your idea of asking the room steward to help prepare the room. After dinner, it would be perfect to walk into the room setup like that. Thanks!

Wow this thread kinda took off! I love it. It's good to know that I will be able to easily reserve La Cucina on the first night, but I am still debating on whether to do it on my aft balcony cabin on the 13th deck or in the restaurant. I really like the idea that "LrgPizza" recommended, but I will probably wait until we're on board to see what feels right.

As for the roll call, I'm worried about people spilling the beans, lol.

Hello All!

First time poster here, but definitely not a first time cruiser. I have a question in regards to the Romance Package that NCL offers. Part of the package includes a "Romantic Dinner for two in La Cucina", but I noticed that after I purchased the package, it doesn't show a reservation date for the restaurant.

Now I'm planning on proposing to my girlfriend of nearly 5 years on the first night of the cruise (March 1 - NCL EPIC) and was hoping to possibly do it at the restaurant. My question is, when can I make the reservation? Is it after we board the ship?

Also, if you have any suggestions on proposal spots feel free to chime in because I'm not sure if the whole restaurant thing is overdone, lol.
