If masks were not required indoors at a time like this, we would seriously reconsider the safety and sanity of cruising at this time.

My wife and I do not drink alcohol, but I’m fussy about the taste and brand of my bottled water, and she enjoys frozen non-alcohol drinks. We used to be able to downgrade our “included” Classic alcohol drink package to the Premium non-alcohol drink package for free, and it solved all of our preferences. I say “downgrade” simply because the premium non-alcohol is less to purchase than the Classic alcohol would be- but we’ve opted for the “Always Included” with this cruise anyway. Has anyone had success making this switch lately? Looking forward to our first post-shut down b2b in February 2022 on the Reflection.

How cool is it on Reflection? Sooo cool!

Shipster60, what was your cabin number? Sounds great!
-
Sounds good- thanks for the update nb516090. Much appreciated.
-
Awesome- there is "Hope" then jelayne. Thanks!

Thanks ConnMom, that's been a re-occurring and consistent problem on our Reflection and Infinity sailings too- the premium selections hard to find, or warm... sounds like it's a fleet-wide or "Celebrity" thing perhaps. Was hoping for some better news on the Silhouette- but at least no reports yet of those awful paper/plasticized "cartons" that were being tried on some ships. Thanks again.

Without getting into the pros and cons of bottled water, could anyone tell me what is being offered for premium bottled water these days on the Silhouette? Spring water, still water, glass bottles? Hoping to avoid the newish "cartons" or "tin" containers. Any info?
-
I prefer glass bottled water, still/non-carbonated. My preferred choice is Acqua Panna- and it was available on our last Celebrity Cruise on Reflection, but that was over a year ago. Anyone know what is being served these days on Infinity in glass bottles/non-carbonated?

We are looking to book the S1 aft-facing corner cabin, 6306, on the Reflection and have seen pictures of the tiny balcony, but it didn't have chairs. We don't mind a small balcony if the cabin itself is the same size as the other aft-facing S1 cabins. However, it would definitely be a show stopper if there weren't any chairs on the balcony to sit on.
If anyone has experience cruising in one of these corner aft-facing S1 cabins on deck 6 with the tiny balconies, we would definitely appreciate your thoughts.
6306 has a huge wrap around balcony with chairs and a table.

I was on the 1/22 cruise and I am still on board
My opinion differs
Production shows awful
Service fair
Food ok. I am in top suite and luminae outshines other venues. Even qsine and Tuscan grille below par We did enjoy sushi on five
Evening chic?? Sweats and baseball caps for more than half the passengers.
What a breath of fresh air... not.
Please. Get real- "Sweats and baseball caps for more than half the passengers." I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however that claim is not presented as opinion, but a matter of fact.
Fact is, that's just not true, now is it?
It's statements like this that cause your other comments to lose all credibility. My guess is you are negatively exaggerating on your critique about productions, service, and food as well.
I'd assume you were being sarcastic or joking, but I read your other posts as well.

A few questions on Celebrity's Inside Access (behind the scenes) tour on an S-Class ship...
1. What is the cost?
2. How long does the tour last?
3. How do you reserve space since I don't see this offered on the website?
4. For those who have taken this tour, was it worth the cost?
Thank you!
1. $99/person
2. 2 hours
3. You can sign up and pay for it under the "Shore Excursion" tab on your online Cruise Planner usually... if it's being offered, usually on Sea Days.
4. Yup- very interesting, each time we've done one on different lines, and hear good things back from friends who have done some we have not.
Enjoy!

It was brought to our attention that guests were asked to leave their staterooms on disembarkation day at 7am earlier this month. The ships have been advised to move this time to 8am as per our standards.
Great news- 8AM is still early, but much more reasonable, and acceptable... It's pretty impressive to me that Celebrity cares, responds, and comes on CC to inform. Thanks Celebrity!
-
Wow- thanks all! These are some great responses. I really appreciate them all!

We were on the Millennium in Alaska and dined the Tuscan Grill and someone asked about birthdays, mine was a few weeks past, DW's was coming up in a week. They surprised her with a cake for desert...and then there was some confusion and they delivered another cake to our cabin.....so yes, tell them it is a special day and they will help make it more special.
That cake idea is nice- she's definitely a dessert girl. She sometimes prefers dessert over the main dish! Do I just make mention of our anniversary when I'm booking restaurant reservations?
-
Make prior arrangements with Celebrity to have your wedding vows renowed by the Captain and Senior Officers (fee associated with this). Dine in Murano with a fine bottle of wine to mark this wonderful celebration.
I am quite confident that whatever you do for your wife she will greatly appreciate it. Happy 25th and many more to come.
Thanks so much! :)

Feb 14th is our 25th Wedding Anniversary, and we are in an Aft facing C1 cabin on the Reflection, visiting Grand Cayman port that specific day... anyone have any ideas of how I can make this day special/over the top for my wife?
The whole cruise was a surprise, and is now out and is an "anniversary cruise" obviously - we're doing a few excursions/things at each port, but really wondering how I can make this day really stand out. Getting married on Valentine's Day has always upped the ante, meaning I've got to do a combo of both V-day and the Anniversary, but now I really want to do something special for this special Valentine and Anniversary. She's a pretty amazing woman and deserves the best... if for nothing else, just for putting up with me!
Don't really want to just visit the tourist trap "Hell" in grand Cayman, and have her tell everyone we've been to "Hell" and back for our anniversary. :)
Anyone have some really great experiences or celebrations that stand out to you- I'm not above stealing your ideas! Thanks for any ideas.

Nope. 7 AM departure? I wouldn't stay at a hotel who insisted or suggested I vacate at that time. Not reasonable at all. If thy want to delay my boarding time, I'm 100% fine with that, but it's unreasonable to be out of my room at 7 AM.
-
Thanks Linda and Mummble- that's what I'll try. We're in a C1 cabin, so maybe if Guest Services is not helpful, I'll try Concierge. Thanks for letting me know it is/was possible!
-
Great- thanks for the advice. Will do.

We have the Classic Beverage Package as one of our perks- but we don't drink alcohol at all. Can we upgrade from the Classic Alcohol to the Premium Non-Alcohol- and since it is listed as a lower cost per day, could we just trade? It would appear that premium water and some smoothies appear on the Premium Non-Alcohol pkg, but not on the more expensive Classic Pkg.
Anyone know about this? Not a big issue- just curious.

Does the fitness center on Reflection have change room with showers and sauna free for all to use after a workout- not connected to the Spa? I sometimes like to shave right after a workout and sauna, and shower at the gym, where sometimes there is more room- while my wife gets ready back in the cabin... but I don't want to have to pay for a spa day. Is this an option on the Reflection?
-
For us it is a cabin location question. We prefer some of the locations of the C1 cabins... and so we pass Aqua by. Ideally, we'd like the Aqua perks with the Concierge locations.

Thanks so much for this- your spreadsheet help me answer a ton of my questions and is fun to try different options. Thanks for posting this and sharing it. Works fantastic!

Good to know- looks like we will need to cancel our b2b cruises that were to start on Feb 5, as we were planning on flying home to Canada on the same day as we disembark at the end of the cruise. Disappointed at how many upsells Celebrity has been able to send us- but no mention of this change without going looking for it. Losing more and more confidence in Celebrity these days as they navigate through this difficult time. I’ll wait to cancel during the last few days and check the current situation in case they change a few more times by then. Thanks for pointing this out Work2cruz!
