I can't find search button in this forum, so I need to open new topic. We booked 12 nights cruise on Norwegian Jewel from Sydney to Auckland, but it looks to me that it will cruise the three Sounds during night hours. Did somebody took similar cruise? I'm afraid, that it is not too much to see at night there. I can't find another NCL cruise with day time at Fiordland National Park. Any advice?
I assume that you are on the 23 January sailing from Sydney. If so, it looks like indicative timings are Milford Sound 9-10am, Doubtful Sound 2-3pm and Dusky Sound 5-6.30pm on 29 January.

Hi everyone,
We are thinking of going on the Poesia. I am sensitive to smoke. Does the smoke travel outside of the casino or out into other areas of the ship or promenade deck? Are there any other smoking areas inside the ship?thank you!
Just stay on the starboard side of the pool and avoid walking through the casino on Deck 7 when moving from one end of the ship to the other.

However, you can also book on the Norwegian railways site (same trains, slightly cheaper prices).
Although VY.no is showing better availability, it does not give the round trip discount (NOK 590 instead of NOK 410 x 2).
However, it will still be cheaper than the cruise line excursion to Voss, and you will have the ability to choose a later train back.

In Flam, Meraviglia is booked for the wharf from 8am to 7pm on 11 September.
The main Flamsbana website shows limited availablility for independent travellers on that date.
However, you can also book on the Norwegian railways site (same trains, slightly cheaper prices).
More information on that site:

Hi, I am trying to book our Cirque Du Soleil tickets on the MSC website. I choose the show that I want and the time and date, and then when it is time to confirm, the date has been changed. Does anyone know why this keeps happening, or how to fix it?
Thanks!
The same thing happens if you try to select a dinner sitting that is not available. Try to book a different show.

Hello!
We will be on an Australia/New Zealand cruise in December and would like to have an Ultimate Balcony Dinner. I am trying to decide whether to purchase this in advance for 100USD or whether to wait and purchase as soon as we get onboard. Does anyone know what Princess charges for the Balcony Dinner in AUD?
Many Thanks!
Brooke
Showing in our personalizer as AUD130.

Yes, in fact the Pacific Princess was originally the Renaissance III. Princess bought 3 of Renaissance's ships after they went out of business.
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
And Azamara bought 2.

Currently backing out. 10.45pm EST.

The furthest forward you can go on deck 5 is the Bordeaux Dining Room. On Deck 7 it is the Princess Theater. I doubt there is any such door you can access from the dining room or theater.
Probably you mean another deck.
If you look at the deck plans, you can see corridors leading forward on Baja (11), Caribe (10) and Dolphin (9).

Although this is an old thread, it might be worth noting that Princess also has direct numbers for each ship.
From the US, I think you would dial 011 870 and then the number for the desired ship.

i'm disappointed--that is why I booked Alaska early was to take advantage of the aft deck on the Caribe level
:(
Fear not. The open aft decks and promenade deck live on, as the refit seems to have been postponed.
Coral is online until at least May 2017 (when she will most likely restart Alaskan voyages) and there is no change of deck plans posted.

Actually I have two questions. :o
- How do I link my cruises to my log in on the left so I don't have to go through the whole date of birth and booking number? When I log in on the left it says no cruises found despite having two booked!
- Why do excursions show in dollars for our British Isles cruise but the drinks packages show in pounds sterling?
The onboard currency for that cruise (and most Princess cruises) is USD, with excursions priced in USD. Your booking currency (based on where you booked from) is GBP, and this determines your cruise cost.
If you buy the drinks packages on board, you pay in USD (and probably pay a conversion fee to your bank). If you prepay a drinks package, you pay in GBP (probably at an attractive exchange rate). The same applies to gratuities.

Will be on the Diamond Princess in December for their New Zealand cruise. Which port terminal does Princess use? Overseas Passenger Terminal or White Bay Cruise Terminal? Hopefully the former since it looks like a better location for sight seeing prior to sailing or on the return from sailing.
Diamond Princess departures on both the 8th and 21st are booked for the OPT.

Looks like they've taken away the wonderful back public decks and replaced them with cabins. Always about the money!
As well as the ability to promenade around the whole Promenade deck?
-
Where is the indoor pool?
The Lotus pool on the Lido deck.
