Hello, I'm going on my first cruise in 3 weeks! (Carnival Liberty, San Juan) I have a question about times in the port. The Carnival Itinerary says we'll be in Barbados from 8:00am-5:00pm. Does that mean we can be off the ship at 8 and need to be back on by 5? If not, what are the typical lag times? I have heard of "all aboard time" and i know they're extremely important! Are those the listed times or will they be earlier than the listed time?
Thank you!

Hello, I'm trying to work out an itinerary for our day in St. Thomas. Does this sound reasonable? We would be using a taxi for the day.
Taxi from the port to Mountaintop. Take in the sights, do a little shopping, have a drink. Taxi to Secret Harbour, spend a few hours, snorkel, relax, grab some lunch. Taxi back to the port for some time to walk around.
Thoughts? It's so hard to tell when you're just looking at a map if the plan makes sense and is doable. Thanks!

I'm so excited for the piano bar! What time do they typically get started? Do you have to buy drinks in order to stick around?

Hello, I will be cruising the southern Caribbean in early May. I've never been snorkeling but would like to diy it on this trip. Am hoping to find a beach to rent equipment and just tool around casually. I am looking at St Thomas, Barbados, and St Kitts. What would you recommend?

Hello, I am going on my first cruise soon and I need some guidance. I've always lived in a landlocked place so when we go swimming its a big to-do. It sounds like when you're in port in the Caribbean its not uncommon to go to the beach, stay awhile, go somewhere for lunch, go back to the beach, go do some shopping, etc. What do you wear??? Do you change in and out of your suit each time? If not, what kind of things do you throw on over it? Please shed some light for me. Thank you!
Best things to do in St. Thomas???

When people say "walk around Charlotte Amalie" what does that mean? ie. How do you get there? Can you walk from the ship or do you take a taxi? Are there specific places you should go once you're there?
