On a Viking ship headed towards Vienna from Melk, we are doing Nuremburg to Budapest, the Christmas market in Nuremburg was large but didn't have as nice a feel as Passau, no swaps for us which is real blessing, looks like we will make it through to Budapest as far as we can tell all is well.

I'm sitting at an airport about to board plane for a deviation then on Nuremburg to Budapest starting on 22nd I will certainly attempt pending wifi connection give updates as I go.

It's called marine traffic.com then search "Viking Atla" it's made as far as Melk since I checked again I. My personal email is melissasue79@hotmail.com if you want to email me privately. The Atla is on the move finally I just got a notification from marine traffic app. On the way to Linz from Vienna (sat there since the 6th) I was getting worried let's see if can get any closer to Nuremburg then Linz over the next couple days[emoji120][emoji572]️

We are due to go with Viking on Nov. 22nd. We hope to take in at least one Christmas Market but they don't open until the last week of November. When is your cruise?

I went on marine traffic site and our boat as been in port outside of Vienna since the 6th of November it hasn't moved for four days

I agree if they were honest and said hey your on a bus tour now for these certain days, for this many hours per day, then folks could make a decision before they get on a plane. I'm sure it's still a nice trip but if I wanted I bus tour I would have booked one. They say it's unpredictable, I disagree it's pretty obvious and I'm sure they have all the buses gased up and hotels on call.

I was told today to call my credit card (I have insurance through my credit card) because it is so close to departure I would lose 100% if I tried to reschedule or rebook. The comments from the above Viking agent on here quoted word for word what was told to me today by another agent. Which tells me they are "towing the company line" not sure what they are doing to offer its clients aboard but it better be good if we show up and we're stuck on a bus tour. Call again in a few days, they did state water levels are an issue and I stated I didn't pay for a bus tour and my husbands health cannot handle many hours on many buses.
