Does anyone have information (or a photo) of the type of equipment she has in the fitness center. Specifically I an interested in whether there are elliptical machines. TIA

Can I use the one device internet package on multiple devices as long as only one device is logged in to the account at a time?

Thank you for your review. We are Diamond plus on RCL and well on our way to Pinnacle. Other than when we are traveling with extended family who like the extra activities on the larger Royal ships we have switched almost exclusively to Celebrity.
I find it interesting that as a Pinnacle you have also made the switch. It does not appear that Zeniths on Celebrity have quite as many benefits as Pinnacles do on RCL.

Azamara and Celebrity already share points as well as status level as they each use the same tiered structure for awarding points (i.e., the more you spend the more points you receive per night). I can see Royal going to the same type of structure as it would make it more difficult to reach Diamond then the Royal present system.
If Royal did go to Celebrity and Azamara I think it would be a unfortunate for Celebrity and Azamara as Royal is so much larger and appears to have so many more Diamond and above.

Is anyone aware of any services that provide golf excursions including taking care of booking tee times and arranging transportation to and from the course. I have often thought this could be a nice niche market, like shoretrips, but specializing in golf.

I don't understand.
Is the dr open before dinner, for drinks, or does this mean you can order drinks if you're diamond or better and they don't use the coupons at dinner?
Mdr does not open early. According to our server, during dinner you can order drinks and they don’t charge your coupon.

We are currently on Allure. They have implemented a happy hour in the MDR which is effectively the same as the diamond lounge. No need to use our drink coupons during the MDR “happy hour”. The diamond lounge isn’t terribly crowded either. About 500 ish D and D plus. 13 PC.

I appreciate all the thoughtful replies.
For us, I am thinking it is worth upgrading to the sapphire reserve. I had forgotten about the $300 travel credit. For us, this makes the effective yearly cost difference to be $135 a year ($450 yearly charge + $75 for extra user - $300 travel credit - $95 cost of sapphire).
-
Thank you for all the thoughtful replies. Based upon the replies here I am thinking it makes sense to keep the MedJet membership.
I still may upgrade to the sapphire reserve. I will check the fine print, but I believe the travel insurance benefits will stack on the yearly policy I use.
There is a fair amount of discussion on the Celebrity board regarding other advantages to this card.

For piece of mind over the last few years we have been using a combination of a yearly travel policy and a Medjet membership. We also use a Chase Sapphire card for all of our travel purchases as we receive double points for these.
I recently received an offer to upgrade to a Sapphire Reserve Card. In addition to other benefits, the list of benefits includes trip cancellation/interruption insurance as well as emergency evacuation & transportation.
Has anyone considered such an option rather than travel insurance/Medjet?
TIA

Thank you for your replies. I will also post to the travel insurance forum as suggested.

Thanks to all for a very informative discussion. Wife and I have been discussing this very issue for future Celebrity cruise booking. We are Diamond Plus on RCL and have tended to book Junior Suites for the extra space. However, we are thinking that Celebrity better fits our cruise style now that we are not cruising with the kids as much.
Gonzo70 - When you are able to switch to a suite after final payment, do you receive the CC points for the Sky Suite or for the room level you had when you made your final payment? TIA

It looks like the Galveston port will be opening today. For anyone attempting to drive to or from Galveston, the Drivetexas.org website provides a map with up to date data on which roads are still closed or flooded.

Thanks for your review. We are on the New Years cruise and it can't get here soon enough.
Re the BOSS excursion: we did this a few years ago and while we enjoyed it I would warn anyone who is even slightly prone to motion sickness or claustrophobia to consider whether this excursion is the right fit. We have done many excursions over the years where they warn about motion, but this is the only one where it was an issue.

Thank you for your replies. That helps me to plan. I have already reserved Mama Mia and blue planet.

We have cruised Royal a number of times, but this will be our first time on an Oasis class ship. I have reserved the Allure specific shows, but am a bit confused regarding the headliner show. Will there be one headliner show that is repeated for the various headliner show times or may there be different performers for the various headliner shows over the week?

Thank you to all for your replies. We have done enough cruising to know the first few days are always the busiest, then the gym use drops off significantly. So much so that we have seen a number of comedians who joke about it.
