Hi I know this post is real old but would love input on anyone who did the Canada & new england 13 day cruise.Quebec to NYC.  I have many questions.  What shore excursions did you do and where ship docks do they have little golf carts to take you to the end of the pier if you decide to take taxi to a private tour place?  I'm cruising oct 6 so I know this is last minute but trying to book excursion.  See ones on the Norweign Dawn but alot cheaper off the ship.  If you did NYC how do you get to a tour place? Is it safer to book of ship however just one available.

Aqua class gets Blu ....I saw some downloads of menu's. Do you have to pay for orange juice, lemonade or coffee in the place when you eat. It actually has smoothie on it but I know there has to be a charge. Nothing is free right? Please if you know answer it will help me stop arguing with my husband.

If I want continental breakfast in the morning is there still a 7.95 room charge? Do you have to pay the extra 18% also?

If we want to use the thermal spa which is included in the Aqua class do you wear your bathing suit and cover up to spa then change to the robe that they give you in the room? My husband says he's wearing it out the room which will be from Deck 11 to Deck 4? I never seen people walking around in the white robe on other cruises. Any suggestions on this. I know I sound crazy to worry about this stuff but it's all new to me and this ship. Thank you all

Blu menus were posted Sept 24-26th on the Celebrity forum. They were very similar to what we saw Sept 2018.

 

 

 

I just got off Solstice two weeks ago and I wish that I had dressed up more for dinner at Blu. I wore appropriate tops,usually with scarves, but black jeans. I wish that I had brought black dress pants. For Chic nights (2) I wore dresses, but I wish that I had kicked up the level of 'dressiness'. A lot of the women wore sparkly (diamond) lanyards with their dresses. Those lanyards looks good on Chic evenings - not too over the top!

 

 

 

My husband (after embarkation day) always wore dress shoes, a decent collared shirt, but sometimes with jeans. On Chic night he always wore a suit-coat.

Can you tell me what to see on ship and also on land tours, never been there or ship

For anyone who has recently had the lobster, do they still split them in half and serve you a half piece or do they butterfly it and serve you the entire tail? On my last Allure sailing 2 years ago I was very disappointed that they split the tails in half and only served me a half piece.

 

Am sailing the Allure this weekend and I am looking forward to the lobster night but hoping it's butterflied and served as a whole and not into thin halves.

Hi, if your on allure this weekend, can you let me know if dining room on any nights have free lobster or do you pay $30??? Have you sailed with allure before?

I was told no lobster is served on Athem Ship. Does anyone know if its free on the 7 day?. I was told you can go to fine dining side but you still have to pay for lobster? Anyone been on the Athem recently in 2017 and let me know if it was served in main dining room free or buffet?

I know your question was to the Port Canaval port with Uber but can you or anyone tell me if Uber can be used when returning from your cruise and going to Ft. Lauderdale airport. Are they allowed at this airport? Found cheapest shuttle for $15 pp but still trying to get cheaper, haha. Only two of us

I'm sorry not answering your question but I want to do things in St. Martin from Allure, Is this Capt.Bob a independent place on this island? Usually try to do things not from ship itinerary but maybe this could be scary if they change your time hu? Any suggestions for stuff in Puerto Rico?

On the Norwegian Sky, 4 day cruise.When we get to Nassau how much are taxi cabs or any other tranportation to get over to the Atlantis side. In my late 60's so can't walk a mile. I understand their are water taxi and where are they located? How far to walk to their and then to Atlantis. In Freeport are there any shuttles to take you around at the pier? Don't want to go to the beach as I will do that on the next stop(they have a island stop). I usually depend on stuff on the outside instead of hiring the ship tours but not sure if they have transporation out there like regular 8 day ships and stops. Thanks for any information.
