On our last cruise on Serenade in a OV balcony a neighbor was told to leave his scooter in the hallway and set up a time for it to be picked up every night and time to be returned every morning. They would charge battery for him too. They handled this very well.
What ship will you be sailing on?
I'll be sailing on Freedom Of the Seas next Monday (Dec 11)
Do I need to arrange for the scooter pick-up & return before we board?

We've only had an assigned table and meal time on 1 of the 5 cruises we've taken. I was very impressed with the way the waiter knew by the third night exactly what most of us would order. We tend to not really meet anyone else on the ship except for when we get a good trivia team together. So the assigned table forces us to meet a couple of people at least.

First cruise was NCL Dreamto Alaska 2005. Second cruise was RCI Splendor Transatlantic 2008 Third cruise was Epic Barcelona - Miami 2013. Thought RCI was a notch up from Norwegian. Will only take Epic again if it is so close to free we don't care about service -- or lack thereof. Taking the Sun in 40 days for Panama Canal. We're sure hoping the smaller ship will have the pampering attitude we loved on the Dream and was COMPLETELY missing on Epic.

check on-line auctions (or live auctions, too)
I've gotten a couple really nice rollators for under $50 (new, in the box)
