  1. Has anyone stayed in a cove balcony on Carnival Breeze. It says it's on deck two, but all the pictures of the ship doesn't have balconies on deck two. I'm trying to decide it I should book there or another deck? I like the idea of being close to the water, but not if its a cramped / undesirable cabin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! There will be three of us in the cabin also.

  2. Cruiseyesplease! Congrats on your the Renewing of your vows. That's exciting. Which stateroom will you be in?

I do not have a list of the cruise critic activities. Where do I find that?

  3. My daughter and I are going on the Epic in 12 days. We were looking at the excursions and they seem so expensive!!

My daughter is interested in the mud buggies in Ocho Rios, the turtle sanctuary/farm in Grand Cayman and the Dolphins in Cozumel.

Can anyone suggest an excursion company that is cheaper than the ship or know of a way to do these activities cheaper than the ship's price.

  4. Rebekah: I was onboard Norwegian Epic less than a month ago, and it was my 6th voyage on that ship. Obviously I personally enjoy that ship, its level of service and layout, but that's only my view. I've done a variety of stateroom choices, and all somewhat close to an elevator bank. If you choose a cabin a bit aft of the forward elevators you are still rather mid-ship.

I hope you'll go into the vacation experience with a positive outlook, and I hope you'll enjoy it even half as much as I have. The crew on this most recent cruise was very memorable . . . and for all the right reasons.

  5. We are leaving in less than two weeks on the Epic out of Miami. I've been reading the reviews and have mixed feelings. Has anyone cruised on this ship lately that can give me an honest opinion on the ship layout, ship programs (besides the Blueman Group, Second City, etc) and best cabin location.

Right now I'm in midship, but informed that there is no midship elevator. Where is the best location for cabin?

  6. In 13 days we head out on our first cruise with NCL. Is there anything that I should pack to make our travels easier?? Anything to make the cabin life more enjoyable?? Do we need to pack dressy clothes for evening meals??
