I know I'm one of those people who will drink more when on vacation, but this is also a kid free vacation for me so I can be more relaxed and not on top of everything for this vacation. I enjoy my morning drink, a few by the pool in the afternoon, a drink with dinner and a nightcap. That may seem like a lot I know but it is spaced out and I fully intend to remember my vacations!

I do have the drink package so I wouldn't want to do room service. If I need to go to the windjammer that's fine. I'll go where I need to go.

My room is on deck 7 so I would like to just go to a bar on deck 6 or 8 to be quick.

What time do bars open in the morning? Is it possible to run to a bar get a Bloody Mary to bring back to my balcony in the morning? I'll be on the oasis.

Are there mosquitos or other bugs in Central Park on Oasis or other ships? Just curious. My friend always gets eaten alive by mosquitos here on Long Island and she is concerned about Zika Virus so may not be going ashore but I was thinking with the Central Park plant life maybe there are mosquittos there too.

I had this elderflower and gin drink which I'm looking forward to having again but can't remember the name. I also have different drinks for different times of the day or activities. Such as a Bloody Mary in the morning, something refreshing by the pool like a vodka, club soda and lime, Martinis at dinner and some brandy at night.

That's okay, I was planning on that.

I have about $200 for OBC from my Visa card for my cruise in 4 weeks. I was hoping to take that at the casino to use. Is that going to work? I can find other ways to use the credit but I was planning to use it for the casino instead.

That's great to know. We will be a group of 6 so we should be able to pick a variety of things to all try but I still like to know the option is available.

On a side note - We are going to be on the Oasis, must we pre-book the restaurant or can we just do it on the ship? We haven't been all able to decide a day or even that it will be Chops for sure.

I would love an updated pricing list for some of my favorite drinks on the ship. I also have the package and am hoping not to have to pay upcharges.

I'm on the Oasis Western from 2/27 to 3/5 and it is still showing Labadee. I know its not the same ship or dates but its close...

When we were booking our flight for Jet Blue from Fort Lauderdale to NY after the Oasis for our upcoming cruise, we were told from RC to not book anything before 11am. We now have an afternoon flight around 1pm and I'm sure we will end up with lots of time between, but I would rather have a relaxed/lazy/borring time than a stressful one. We are also flying out the morning before our cruise.

Never had it at sea before, but I love Hot Totties! They are great for cold winter nights or a sore throat. Can't exactly remember all that goes into them since my husband makes it but I believe it is whisky, lemon juice, honey and a cinnamon stick served warm.

I still have pleanty of time before I head out on the Oasis in February for my Western cruise, but would it be completely wrong to look at cruise compasses and schedules from this summer to plan for dinner and events to book? Does the itinerary of the events change very much? I'm looking at a June 2015 western Oasis cruise details and compasses.
