  1. We are driving a rental to Miami and looking at a drop off place either at Miami airport and taking taxi or rental location with free shuttle. Is the wait for a shuttle long or are they pretty frequent. We like to get to ship early and really don't want to sit at rental place for extended length of time.

  2. While I appreciate your feedback, I am basing my opinion off of cruising every year during spring break time, and we have yet to experience any university students onboard, to the extent of what the OP is stating. So yes, it may be different where you are at, however I work in the school system and our spring break is always the last week of March...

Thank you on informing me that it is not a 7+ day thing...our TA I guess isn't up to speed.

Yeah, it is. I heard though it was only a 7+ day thing so contacted TA and she confirmed it. After calculating everything out we don't see ourselves breaking even on it so we are passing on it. Wife and I are not heavy drinkers.
  3. This was briefly true when the AIBP was first rolled out a couple years ago. Not any more--many, many reports on here from those who bought the package on short getaway cruises. Your TA is well behind the times.

ETA: I see you are on Emerald next week--wasn't the AIBP available for purchase in your cruise personalizer?

  4. My wife and I will be on our first cruise in March on Emerald Princess. We are in our mid to early 30's thinking we are still in our mid 20's. When we go out we our used to the new age music like Pitbull, Fallout Boy and so on. Is that music played at Skywalker's or Club Fusion at night as I know this line is catered mostly to the older crowd?

  5. We are first time cruisers and I am wondering about the snorkel and sting ray excursion in Grand Turk. The ship arrives at Port at 8:00 and our excursion is at 8:30. Is that enough time to get off of ship and to the designated area. With all the people exiting ship afraid we will miss it.
