In our hotel there we tourist books that had coupons for a lot of these places.

We ate at Huck Finn's very casual but good. I ate a muffuletta there and it was amazing! My husband got a catfish po'boy and left no crumbs.

We also ate at Crescent City Brewhouse. They have a bread pudding with praline sauce... so delicious!

As for places to visit, we loved the

Aquarium. So much hands on things for the little ones.

Our last cruise out of NOLA we stayed at Hilton Riverside and also have it booked for our October cruise.

We liked that it was close to the street cars so we could go out and see the city.

We did the submarine excursion through Carnival with our 6 year old. He loved it! It's not an all day excursion but so worth the cost!

The Holiday was our second cruise. We took a couple of first time cruisers on that sailing with us. Loved it!

I just booked a hotel for our December cruise out of New Orleans. $70 per night, plus taxes/fees, staying 2 nights. Hilton New Orleans Riverside!

 

 

 

Felt a little silly booking so far in advance, but I was afraid I'd I waited, I'd not get a good hotel at a fair price.

Just wait till closer to cruise time and then look at the room price... You will not feel silly then!

We booked our room in October 2015 for our stay this April for 33,000 (less than $100 a night) Hilton points. Currently, the same room is going for 98,000 points (close to $400) a night!

Me and my family will be on this cruise too! We have not tried the American Table menus yet. Looking forward to trying! We did the Chef's Table on our October cruise, it was amazing!

There was a flyer on our bed at check in that gave detailed instructions.

I know that an adult can order from a kid's menu, but can a kid order from the adult menu? My 6 year old loves the adult selection more than what is listed on the kids menu.

They do open more up as sail time gets closer.

We are going to be in Nassau on the 16th of October. I have been looking at the resorts on Trip Advisor. Some say that BCH and the Melia are doing construction on their pools. (It also says there is construction going on next to the BCH.) Does anyone know anything about this? Thank you!

Just went to BCH and the pool was open. No construction around the pool or beach area.

We just did the Chef's table this week on the Fascination.

They charged us as we finished the meal and we also tipped.

Don't know if they can pay ahead of time, maybe they can give you a gift card to apply to your account.

There was a mixture of outfits at our seating...dress shorts, jeans, dress pants, dresses/skirts.

Does BCH supply life vest for children or do we need to bring ours from home for our 5 yr old?

Are the chairs near the slides as hard to get as the ones on the lido deck? I have been reading here that lido chairs are being reserved at 7 or earlier for the day. If it helps, we will be on the Fascination.

From day of filing for a new one at my local courthouse till time of arrival of passport was 4 weeks. You can go onto the passport website and it will show you status. I filed end of July 2015.

If you are going to go, I suggest going to resort for a day and book it. There are some that are going on my cruise in October that say BCH is sold out of day passes.

I called Carnival yesterday and matched my ES to this promotion. The price went up $10 pp but we still ended up with $45 OBC. It was noted that since we are still under ES we can match any other price but would not be able to transfer the OBC credit with us.
