  1. My TA is working on it, she said she got a email in the middle of the night that the ship had been chartered for that date and they would send her a fax today with further details. I spent a month picking that itinerary and cabin, sure is disappointing that they can do this.

Same here! Picked the date due to my kids having that week off, also, we love the Breeze. This sucks. Back to the drawing board

  2. As others have stated, you are correct. I actually brought this up to my TA recently as we live in NY and wanted to book on the Splendor but the price for five of us was way more expensive than trekking it to Miami. Needless to say, we chose Miami on the Breeze again next April and delayed the trip rather than pay an arm and leg for the Splendor. TA says he figures that Carnival gets us because there are people who are willing to pay the extra money instead of having to fly. Would be willing to drive to Baltimore, but the prices have to come down some.

  3. We are relatively new to cruising, but already hooked. Honestly, I knew it would happen before we ever started as the hubby and I both love the water as well as travelling. Went on the Breeze last year for our 10th anniversary and my birthday and did the same this year on the Valor. Booked the Brreze again for next April so that the kids can finally enjoy it. I must say, I am a little concerned that I may end up making addicts out of them!

  4. We are also taking our three on their first cruise next April. They'll be 13, 12 and 11. We were on the Breeze last year and loved the experience, so we've booked to go back on with the whole crew. There is a lot to do on that ship for anyone of any age! I have no doubt they'll love it.

  5. Ultimately, you know the answer to that question. I enjoy the 2.0, but it isn't a make or break thing for me. I was on the Valor March 1st and had a great time. We chose the ship due to the itinerary. It was so port heavy I spent most of my evenings just chilling out. It's a vacation, don't sweat the small stuff and enjoy yourself. :)
