Dubrovnik is nice, but if you have been there more than once, not much new to see. Best to get out of town either by boat or bus.

Hank
you have not mentioned much about Aquamar. It was a favorite of my wife on the trans Atlantic last fall. She liked both the food and the service.

My upcoming cruise that I want to shift from is Nov. 3. Was told I have 11 days to do it. So only 6 months..

Update
‘According to Oceania, I can cancel and receive the full $500 refund, no penalty. If I roll over to a new cruise I will lose O life and get Simply More.

Booked a cruise more than a year ago. I am approaching 6 months before the cruise. What do I lose if I cancel? I understand there is now a cancellation penalty but this was booked before that went into effect.
Also, I did not take any OBC for the cruise I was on.

Are you doing a private transfer or relying on Azamara?
-
Can any of the above detail their experiences last year with the transfer to Fusina.
Did Azamara still provide check in times or was it an open scramble?

Is 8004 under the gym? Also, 8052 and 8054 might have noise from rolling carts.

Does the Regatta still have a place to leave books for others in the library? I'm boarding on Saturday and wondered if I could leave my finished ones and pick up another one. Thanks!
A very small section with very old books. One cabinet to the left as you enter from Toscana.

On our recent Regatta cruise, the fridge had caffeine free Coke Zero and diet tonic for all 21 days. Put in the request about a month before.

Anything specific we have to do in order to text? It would be grand to be able to text my husband on the ship. We're frequently looking for each other
As long as you are both logged in to the wifi, it should work as it does at home. I did not need to do anything special.. Only issue I had, was switching between my ipad and phone..

A point on WiFi. I kept my phone on silent and connected during the night. Using wifi calling I was able to receive voicemail. The next morning I was able to return the calls, again using WiFi calling.
Now, with 2 accounts per cabin, my wife and I were able to text each other. I consider both a plus.

We were just on the prior cruise of the Regatta for 21 days. While there were some not so great nights, the majority of our meals were excellent. Especially enjoyed the pasta and veal in Toscana. The steaks in Polo were very good as well. My favorite was the NY strip. My wife was on a gluten free diet and the staff went out of their way to accommodate her needs. They would come by our table every night to make sure everything was done right.

Really enjoyed your reports last year on Japan. They helped a lot with our own trip on Azamara’s Quest.
We did Vista’s trans Atlantic this past September. Crossing was fine except for cold and cloudy weather.
For us the best part of the ship, was the new Aquamar restaurant.
Looking forward to your independent excursions, including your post cruise drive. Also curious how you spent your simply more credits.

Hello all. Well Azamara have finally accepted that the cruise must be cancelled. To all who were booked to go through the Red Sea I am sorry i will not meet you. Now, as for the options Azamara are offering after cancelling, I am less than eimpressed. Firstly choose another cruise of 27 days or less with some minor benefits - guess whart there are no cruises of 27 days so we are asked to choose a shorter cruise with no compensation. Secondly accept a 130 % Credit. But what happens to the credits, additional services etc that were part of our original booking? Thirdly reach out to our travel agen for further options. Well there is an issue with full refunds - those refunds will come minus the commission of our agent. Frankly in identical circumstances other companies have chosen to reimburse agents as well as providing a full refund to customers.Come on Azamara, we want to cruise with you agaqin but this is a poor response, especially given the delay in making the decision. Easy to offer support for airfares lost what about the cost of visas and hotels?
Why is your TA entitled to a commission? Is that the rule for cancelled cruises in Australia.
what happened during the pandemic when many cruises were cancelled?

If not a lot. You can always pay 3% and get the money in the casino.

Royal Caribbean’s World cruise has rerouted via Africa after putting it to a vote with their passengers and are now trying to organise the necessary vaccinations and any visas required for their passengers.
It looks like it’s now only Azamara and HAL with their 2024 World cruise who are prevaricating about transiting the Red Sea.
Our cruise that transit the Red Sea is not until October so we have plenty of time to replan but I feel for those with cruises starting in April & May. Could it be that now independent Azamara lack the resources to quickly replan the effected itineraries?HAL has rerouted their 2024 world cruise.

Hope as well. Schedule, on Onward, to depart June 9th from Barcelona.

Are mosquitos a problem in April?

If possible, can you state the prices paid. Last August, we used the bus service National Express..

There is a roll call for current cruise. Probably best to ask there. Not been any posts for quite sometime but may be best opportunity to get insight to what you may be looking for at least.
I have tried looking at the roll calls. Not sure why but there is very little activity. Including mine leaving March 10th. Much more activity on last years similar cruise.
Just assuming lack of activity due to small ship.

Guess no one from these boards are aboard.

Any current news on the Regatta? Will be boarding next month for the trans Pacific.
Anybody onboard currently?

Were people who stayed onboard offered any upgrade to their cabin?
