A backpack.
Put in a change of cloths/swimsuit, your allowed booze, your drugs, and your good to go.

Was on the Glory last month and there was a guy with a camera bag bigger than some suitcases. He seemed to be changing lens every time I saw him.

Had my first cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines in May. My previous cruises have all been on Crystal or Windstar....except for a Commodore cruise on the MS Boheme back in the early 70's.....so I didn't know what to expect with Carnival. I purchased the FTTF shortly after I booked the cruise. I thought it was really nice to have because our luggage showed up to our cabins less than an hour after we boarded, we only had two tender ports and it came in very handy those two days but for us, the biggest benefit was being in Zone 1 for disembarkation. At 8:15 am we were outside the cruise terminal heading for the airport for an 11:00 am flight.
Carnival won me over and so did FTTF.

The burrito bar or Guys is the fastest in my experience. Walk on and be eating by the pool in 10 minutes.

Walkie Talkies worked great for our group....on board and while ashore as well.

I'll ride along and see where it takes me.....

I'm on the Glory May 23rd and I'm not the kind of guy that will run and tell Carnival. I also won't be complaining about your smoke while I'm standing in the smoking area....all that's childish.
I am the kind of guy that will ask you nicely the first time to stop screwing up my trip when your smoke bothers me in a location it isn't supposed to be. The second time, I am not nice about it.

So how do you know if your preferred booze falls within the Cheers Program or not? I'm gonna be pissed if I purchase the Cheers Program only to find out that my liquor of choice isn't included and I have to pay additional for a decent glass of scotch or vodka.

I, unfortunately, don't do well around rude people.....guest or service people. For years I was in the service industry and I can tell you from first hand experience that being rude or obnoxious will only get you pay back....one way or another.
Now I know that I am not Carnival's target guest, however I am booked on the Glory for May 23rd because my daughter picked it for her graduation present. As far as gratuities go, I am a very good tipper for good service....I've been there....and a very good complainer for poor service.
I don't expect "white glove" treatment....I am not paying for that, however I am not going to eat next to the pig family or stand in line while some butt head berates a server.
After reading these posts, I am not sure what to expect but my mission is to make sure my daughter has a fun trip.
