We also did this tour in July of 2017.  This is exactly what we did, we really enjoyed the free time to shop a little we found a very nice sidewalk café for lunch.  The Hermitage was amazing we really enjoyed touring it but we also enjoying having some free time away from the group.  This was a perfect day for us.

Was there much to see in the Nevsky Prospekt shopping area, or was it similar to other big cities?  We would like free time, but don't want to just spend time in another big city where we could be in any city.

We took advantage of the free air also.  I was curious about the same thing, but are planning to arrive a day early.  I was concerned about the layover time also, but checked with possible flights and I am hoping that I have adequate time.

We have not received flight details yet, but fly out early July 2020.

Just noticed, that even though I have not finished paying for my trip yet when I look at the vacation summary on the NCL app I can see my flights.  Not the time, but the date and stops.  Flying from Portland through KDF, on Iceland air, as I got a notification about my return flight change....

HI everyone, my husband and I are looking at the Norwegian Escape that visits Northern Europe this summer.  We will be traveling just us leaving kids at home. Can anyone give us an idea of activities that are held on board (besides the port of call).  Just worried that it might be a bit too quiet.  Any advice thoughts are welcome.

    Thanks as always.

While I have only cruised a couple of times, there is always something happening on the ship.  If you look at the times for the ports you are in port most of the day with 2 days at sea (one at the beginning and one at the end).  Sometimes people will post the daily itinerary from the ships.

We are on the 9 day baltic cruise from Copenhagen leaving on July 4th.   Looking forward to a great cruise and some interesting ports of call.

  5. Our sailing is out of NOLA to Cozumel, Roatan, Harvest Caye and Costa Maya. I really want to get to the mainland in Belize no matter where we port. When we booked I had no idea what part of Belize Harvest Caye was. Should have done more research.

We are sailing out of NOLA on the same trip and had already signed up for excursions (and paid for them) before they were pulled. I have not received a refund or any notification. I am hoping that they add these back on before our trip
