Has anyone disembarked from the spirt from one of the last two cruises. What time did self Walk off actually begin and what time did normal walk off with sending the luggage the night before begin. Sailing next Wednesday and for the third time our flight home has been canceled already on aug 5 and there are not very good options left. Trying to determine how early the flight could be.

FYI On the apex now. There has been a covid outbreak among the crew. Crew members affected have been transferred to the infinity. For a 10 days The whole production cast left on Saturday. Also include were nine butlers in the retreat. We do not know total numbers as the ship itself has yet to knowledge this. Information is from individual crew members as service this week has been slow. This also will affect next weeks transatlantic.

We are in aqua suite 8734. And yes we have some soot on the balcony.
the original soot issue on oasis when first delivered was really bad. I believe Rcl adjusted the height of the funnels and that some how helped the issue.

On the sea day the area was crowded even the chair hogs were out in full force.

FYI, On WOS now. We spent a few hours on the suite sun deck and had a good about of soot on our cloths and body. The soot did not come off after laundry.
I will be happy to answer any suite/star class question.

Yes to the casino wearing a mask. Everyone was drinking at the bar. Do not know what they would do about just sitting there. There was No mask police walking around the ship. It really was not a issue if you just go with the flow.

Masks everyone expect eating drinking sitting by the pool was the rule. We were able not to wear masks while in a restaurant or main dinning for the whole time.

FYI We were on this sailing. Not one notice about this onboard or no communication since leaving the ship.
overall a excellent experience. No surprises. All went as expected as for the rules and the changes because of “Covid”. Entertainment in the main theater was a bit lacking. All specialty restaurants were up to standards except one night in chops where they seemed to be having a issue cooking to correct temperature. Almost every order went back from everyone in the restaurant when we were their. Staff was excellent. Checker the concierge provided his excellent service. We received the proper c&r amenities upon boarding in the staterooms. Both diamond plus and pinnacle had lunches on the last day. Officers gave a quick toast and left. We will answer any specific questions anyone has. Happy sailings to everyone

masks everywhere except stateroom and pool area and eating and drinking. We are at chops last night and did not wear a mask while seated.
if you show a negative test you don’t need to be tested upon arrival in Cyprus. If not you will be tested at the airport. It appears that COVID is getting worse now as of last Friday the rules changed and just eat at a establish but you need to show a negative Covid test or vaccination card.

We did not have to go through immigration or clear customs in Lhr bags checked all the way Through
The concierge‘s lounge is only for suites. We are traveling with diamond plus members and they can only use the diamond lounge.

Just boarded the jewel and sailing in a suite. Flight from the US through London to Cypress leaving the US needed to show a negative Covid test the UK transient documents and Cyprus travel pass. Going through Heathrow did not have to show any documentation. Landing in Cypress we had to show a negative Covid test and the travel pass. I thought since we were vaccinated we would have to show just a vaccination card. They said on the aircraft that if you did not have a negative Covid test you’ll be sent for one as soon as you arrive. When we arrive to check in for the cruise the time from leaving the cab to boarding the ship was an hour and 20 minutes. It took about 25 minutes to get the results of the Covid test. The ship is sailing at about 20% occupancy for about 420 people. Everyone on board is really excited to welcome the guests. if you are in a suite the happy hour concierge‘s club drinks do not count against your vouchers if you’re in the diamond club drinks do count against your vouchers. I will be happy to answer any questions anyone may have.

Serenade for July 19 and 26th have been removed from the website. I Called Rcl and couldn’t get a straight answer if they were canceled or put on hold for some reason. Anyone with more information on this?

Remote Desktop will work but you need to purchase the most expenses unlimited package. If you received a internet package when booking, that package will not work and will need to upgrade to unlimited.

FYI, The website is not calculating the 30% off on icon mar 16 24. The booking price is the full price. I called Rcl and they were quoting the correct price. My travel agent booked the correct price. Do not know if this is just for this selling or a bigger issue on the website. Anyone who booked on the website should check to make sure you’re getting your 30% off.
